hey man, i just wanted to pop you a message here. i've been patiently (read: not so patiently) awaiting the day that i pick up my mini aussie. i've done a heap of research about the breed, and knew i wanted an active pup to begin with, so after deciding to take the plunge, i've been consuming as much information as possible. i stumbled upon your channel two or three weeks back and i absolutely love it. it's the simple, small form, well edited, and beautiful cinematography that just keeps me coming back. as a fellow content creator, i just wanted to let you know that you make great videos, it has been a joy to watch you grow through your upbringing of Frankie and Indie. very much an inspiration and delight to watch. thanks again man and good luck out there! :D

❤❤ we have our first Aussie mini. We’re both late 70s I have had our pup since he was 11 weeks old. He is now 10 months old. I absolutely love your videos. I’ve learned so much and I just love your interaction with your pups. Every time I watch ones I have a smile, thank you for all of your patience and love for your little pooches!

@@FrankieToTheMoon I'm from France and here it's often prescribed for horses that may ingest sand while they're grazing , it helps evacuate the sand and soothe the intestine. Thus , I had a big bucket of powder for my horses at home , and later found out I could give some to my dog. She can get nauseous and throw up frequently because of a med she's on. When I give her psyllium powder every day I notice a clear improvement. I don't know if it could work for any dog or for Frankie in particular, but I hope you'll find information on this product ! 🐾

Very cute doggies! I like your videos, it is always informative and fun.

Have you tried splitting up raw and kibble at different meal times? They digest at different rates so maybe that can help! For example raw for breakfast and kibble for dinner since it sits in the stomach for longer :)

I have a 5 year old miniature Australian Shepherd as well. She is extremely fearful of men. My fiancé lives with us now. He cannot do anything with her. He has been here now for 6 months. We can't do raw really, winter is 8 months of the year and I can't feed them outside. I did find a way to incorporate organ meats which are so good for dogs. I buy freeze dried, beef heart and freeze dried beef liver. They don't smell, aren't messy and they get a bit of each at dinner every night. It's looks like Indie had a great birthday.

Hey man, I just got female Aussie puppy this past saturday. She's great! The only issue i have is with her teething, she loves to try biting my long hair and fingers, she has chew toys but is very picky and likes to chew on the things she shouldnt. Hi :) if you want to make the pumpkin snack healtier: buy fresh pumpkin, not a can. If Franko can not eat pumpkin raw, you could heat it up just above 42 degrees Celsius. Lower than 42 Celsius it's still 'rawfood. That way al the vitamines stay in the food. Above not anymore, but if you only heat it up and not cook it still maintains some of the vitamines and minerals. Could also be that Frankie only tolerates cooked pumpkin, but worth the try. Can's have a lot of chemicals in it that goes in to the food. Which is bad for the belly and overall health. Fresh is therefore also way healthier for humans. Also for humans and a lot of animals Oregano is very good for the stomach! Fresh, dried or oil.

I'm curious to know what dogs ate before we domesticated them. Hemp seed is probably not a popular food. Also, I feed my friends dog rice and chicken. I don't expect rice is a normal food for them. I don't think these are bad foods...but I'm just wondering if they are the food that mother nature (plus our dog food companies' influence) has dictated are the best for them. A dog food company will be the first to declare such knowledge...And....How do we know that they are correct?

I always keep the backseat doors on when the dogs are in the car! It’s just not worth the risk and I mean I’m not even sitting back there so no point in them off. As for the front, I take them off and the roof off and he loves it. Frankie prefers the Jeep when there is wind because it distracts him from the bumpy ride

I recommend treats and slowing down! Practice waking in multiple directions so they aren’t “deciding” where you are going

Type of harness can make a difference as well. Your local pet store can recommend one that attaches to the leash down on the chest versus on their back. It made a difference for us - ours doesn't pull nearly as much now.
