I feel like it would be uncomfortable at first but as the night goes on and you have some drinks in you, it probably gets to be more easy and free flowing. Plus he has plenty of experience going up to strangers so it might not be as bad as you might think in his case.

I'm interested in this too. Yeah he talks to strangers in his videos all the time, but that doesn't necessarily mean he could easily do it when it's off camera. Like some actors and performers. It's a zone they get into for the time being, but it's not what they're like irl. I don't drink so, I can't just get drunk or whatever. Hell I could barely leave the house on most days. Honestly whenever I'm asked out, I'm flattered and sometimes interested, but in my head I'm like "Sorry I can't because I have anxiety". I hope he talks about this.
