Why was he in the video? I mean, it’s fine that he wanted to eat at his friends house or whatever happened, (maybe they are in college, or together Idk) but couldn’t he have found a time to make the video when he wasn’t there eating? I feel cheated that I didn't know this existed until now. The whole world must know.

I've been researching Hamilton for a project. And I personally believe that Hamilton really loved Laurens alot. I've read all the letters between them, and it's a bit too sweet and spicy for it to be just a friendship. Hamilton actually requested to be stationed near the south especially South Carolina in order for him to see Laurens. They even have nicknames for each other, John called Alex "Dear boy", the only times he calls somebody this way was with his wife, Martha Mannings. And John never told Hamilton that he had a wife. And what's very sad, is that after John was killed in action at the Battle of Combahee River, Hamilton literally went 2 days without talking to anybody else, not his wife, friends, and family. He shunned himself from people after John died, he had a harder time making new friends, he even refuses to talk about John after he died, because it caused him too much pain. There are even rumors that Eliza was jealous of John, because Alex never wrote the way he wrote to her as he wrote to John. There are even rumors that she helped in censoring those letters between John and Alex, but I don't know, I'm not saying this is real, I'm just saying from what other people say, and its only a theory, not a fact. But what is a fact is that Alex really loved John, but they knew that it couldn't work, because homosexuality was illegal at that time, and they had to break their affair, which is very sad.

I wish this story made it into the play. It’s so clear to me in my research as well that he was madly in love with John. Not just from the language he uses about him but in the way he speaks about Eliza to him. He says at one point that she isn’t very beautiful or interesting, but that she listens and has decent eyes (lmao). It’s heartbreaking to think that if Hamilton’s story was told from his point of view that Lauren’s death would’ve been possibly the defining moment of his adult development. It seems like he was his first and greatest love it makes me so sad

dhsh it's not in the same letter, he asked him to find him a wife after accidentally finding out john was married and had a kid (after 1.5 years of knowing him, laurens never planned to tell alex) so the letter was basically "OH SO YOU HAVE A WIFE? WHY DON'T YOU FIND *ME* ONE?" and it's hilarious
