@leeisahusky I don’t like Beto. He’s too centrist. Beto 2020 would just be a repeat of Hillary. Right now I’m divided between Bernie Sanders and Tulsi Gabbard. I love Bernie, but foreign policy is not his strong suit and Tulsa’s opposition to regime change is amazing. I like Yang, but he’s not for free college or Medicare for All. As for Joe Biden, my thoughts are similar to my views on Beto. He’s too centrist and anyone who takes corporate donations raises a bunch of red flags for me. The Democratic Party should not move to the centre unless they want a repeat of 2016.

Northflower OwO I spent a couple months in New York City in the poor, gang-ish part of town (from what i saw) and I never saw a single fist fight. (but i did see what seemed to be a drug dealer, and i did hear gunshots one time too so yeah..) anyway i'm siding with Northflower. America isn't very peaceful and we're pretty much divided almost entirely. "Clinton!" says someone. "Trump!" says another. "Women!" says someone. "Men!" says another. "Blacks!" says someone. "Whites!" says someone else. "Oh, that's all shit what about Trump?" says another. We are all forced to pick sides and those of us who don't get grey shiny bags instead of our doritos, and decide that registering to vote is totally better than not getting your doritos. Ugh.

Honestly, I'm not sure how different it would be. The song itself would be basically be the same, we don't have Obama's final speech yet (though I bet it's one of the best of his administration and he'd be a fool not to invoke Washington's speech given the renewed interest in it), and the opening isn't really the part people think of when they think of the song. They're Republicans who fooled the American people just as badly, refuse to do anything for it (Biden contradicts every promise he makes) and frankly they're lying out their teeth about vote value. For anyone in a strong state, your vote is actually only worth less if you DO vote for a major party candidate. Meanwhile you could give the Green Party or Peoples' Party leverage for Ballot Access, State to Party Funding, National Recognition, Ranked Choice or even Score Voting, Debate Access, etcetera. I might as well be praying that Biden actually offers just fucking SOMETHING that will undo ANY Of Trump's fascism, but he refuses to. A Vote of Biden OR Trump is a vote for fascism of a different color. This slaughter of democracy needs to end. Vote Green or Peoples' Party unless you're in swing state.

I don't live in America. The system seems massively flawed to me, and needs a reorganisation to reflect the fact that now, women, African Americans, and poor people are allowed to vote. The very idea of "Swing States" seems mental to me. I guess it wouldn't bother me so much, except that America seems willing to lecture the entire on world on Democracy - despite having toppled more democracies than the rest of the world combined.

The greatest thing is this, Bernie is hamilton, Trump is burr and Hillary is Jefferson..... but Trump won XD

He is just in it for the power and ego gratification. The main difference was that Burr was actually smart. Trump is a moron who happened to get lucky enough to have a rich daddy.

​ @the geek squad Now that the sentence structure has been explained, I wanna talk Hamilton Thomas Jefferson isn't a villain or at least not depicted as one in the musical. He is a douche, yes, but he's not a bad leader. Aaron Burr, on the surface level of the musical, is an antagonist. Although, in reality is pretty justifiable. He would've had a promising career if it weren't for Hamilton in the first place. Aaron Burr's actual views were taboo at the time, wanting woman to vote and anyone without property to do so as well. He is an amazing senator/VP who's only downfall was someone else's pride. If Biden was more "worst" than both Jefferson and Burr combined, then there is a large gap of error that could mean good or bad. For example, saying that someone has less money than two billionaires doesn't make them poor, it just makes them less rich than those two.

Josh Macqueen my biggest criticism of hillary is that she constantly changes her beliefs. Jefferson was a horrible person but at least people knew where he stood, this song should really be reversed.
