We were on a camping fishing trip at Craig Lake in the Upper Penisula of Michigan. We were catching plenty of Crappie, Pike, and Small Mouths. We had heard that the lake had some Musky as well. My father put on a Thunder Stick jointed floating crank bait and thought he would just mess around after catching his daily limit of Crappie. He noticed a swirl in the water and thought to cast his crank bait in that direction not knowing if it was another Pike, Small Mouth or his dream of catching a Musky. I was out on the water and just happened to see the movement in the water heading toward his crankbait that he was working at the top of the water. I knew something was going to hit it. I tried pulling out my phone in time but just before I could hit record, this huge head came out of the water and devoured his crankbait. That's when I was able to start recording. My dad's first Musky. Great video.
