My cat tried hunting a turkey
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Raja, a savannah and bengal adventure cat, loves to try and hunt birds. Today she spotted a turkey and made some moves towards it! Luckily she wasn't successful because they have large talons and can be quite dangerous to little kitties. This was filmed at Reservoir Woods in Roseville, Minnesota.

@aleksi789 I do know what I'm talking about. I've owned multiple cats, they make these sounds because seeing prey excites them.

@@randomname8652Nah mate, that just isn’t true. Cats have a thing they do where they mimic the sound of their prey to make they feel at ease or if they do hear the footsteps, they think it’s their friend.
Of course it got away, there is a giant human crawling to it.

Mine did that too but when he got close and saw how big the turkey was he turned and ran up a tree, it was hilarious 😂😂
She’s a really pretty kitty ❤❤ 🥰 🥰
She will have happy dreams about this.
How cute
I recorded the sound a chicken makes on my phone. Whenever I play it back, my Dachshunds fo crazy and start looking for that bird.

Lol…. That Turkey said “that’s a fake reply! I’m going top side!” Flew da heck outta the “Danger zone!” Like that Kenny Loggins song 😮😅😂 (Top Gun!) 🦅 🐈
My Simba have killed two very big chickens when I lived in New Orleans Louisiana.

A North American turkey is larger than you think. That tom turkey will tear up that little cat. Make turkey's are called tom's or gobblers. Female turkeys call hens. The claws are sharp and the leg spurs a deadly for small animals. That little cat is lucky that that tom turkey didn't fight.
So cute 🥰🥰🥰
😮I Don't Think That The Cat Would Do Well Against The Turkey😢
for people who dont know thats not a house cat
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I admire your restraint. I'm not sure I could stop myself from letting the cat off the leash there

When I was a kid my cat thought it was a good idea to mess with some crows. I saw them dive bombing her and ran to save her. She had some decent wounds but she survived.

One of my cats somehow managed to catch and kill a Canada Goose, I felt horrible and tried to get it away from "Sparkie" before it died but he quickly disappeared with it. He didn't show up for meals for days so I'm sure he ate it.

A stray mom we fed killed a whole wild rabbit and plunked it on our welcome mat for us. The kicker? She killed it by snapping its neck with a quick shake instead of just biting, so no bloody mess!

@@flickeringtorch Wow that's wild, rabbits are pretty fast. Living adjacent to a river and state park my cats kill all sorts of stuff. Nomo a young black cat we aquired last summer showed an amazing degree of restraint when we found a large Canada Goose by a bike trail it's chest and neck we're injured probably from a collision with a cyclist. I cought it and after feeding it I released it on the beach beside the river. Nomo insisted on staying with "Gus", I told him not to hurt it. I'm sure he knew that we were trying to protect and nurse it back to health. When feeding it a few days later the neighborhood geese came to steal the food and kept attacking Gus. Nomo repeatedly chased them off, protecting it. They became buddies and after a few weeks Gus finally left the beach and returned to his clan. Nomo went back to stalking and chasing geese, Gus survived and went back to leading his clan when fully recovered.

Turkey...... meow
I saw video of a cat attacking a full grown deer once. Cats really think they are lions.
It got away , cuz of hooman 😅
I need to unlock this perk when I’m hunting
Well, at least you know where to go next time. 😂
With some practice and her claws, she could probably take it.

So stealthy! Too bad there was a human attached on the leash.
This is crazy I didn’t know Cavs can actually do that or do that
Tour cat is absolutely gorgeous! What kind of harness do you use for them? I have a big cat who loves to go on walks too so I am always on the lookout.

As a owner of cat who hunts, oh they fully intend to kill and eat that.

Only bird that can kill a cat is a something like a golden eagle and even then that would be too much of a fight for the eagle.

What kind of cat is it a normal cat or?

U r stealth, kitty but your owner is not thus turkey got away
Don't laugh. My Spencer had a turkey hen cornered in my neighbors car port one morning. Spencer was a mini mountain lion, not a house cat. Fortunately, I got there in time before the carnage had started. It would have been awful.....
