Would like to see the full stop. Show it from when the issue occurs, activating the lights to pulling behind the driver.

The Police Department should write a book on all the crazy excuses they have heard on traffic stops. A money maker!

That guy who you told to pull over and do all those complicated things in the parking lot to get his license reinstated.... I guarantee you he just ignored everything you said and drove away.

@@SectusOG Problem is, what happens if he hits another car when he's driving without his license? The victim's insurance will consider it an "uninsured/unlicensed driver", and then the victim will be out of their deductible. Guys like this need to be taken off the road -- just getting a ticket won't teach them any lessons.

@@jv3600 unlicensed is completely different than unisured. and it has no bearing at all on weather your insurance company will pay out for an accident or not.

@@orion7741 I respectfully disagree with you, just because this exact scenario happened to me a couple of years ago. A guy rear ended me at a stoplight. He hands me his insurance card (which was valid) and his license (which was apparently suspended -- I only found out a few days later when his insurance company called me back). So when his insurance company realizes he's "unlicensed", they refused to cover the damage under his policy (since part of an insurance policy stipulates that the driver must be licensed). So instead, I had to go through my own insurance (claimed under my "uninsured" policy) and I was out my deductible. My insurance company attempted to get my deductible back, but since the other driver had a suspended license his policy was invalidated. I only received part of my deductible back after going through a lawyer, a process that was very expensive and very drawn out. Moral of the story: keep your stuff in order! If you're driving, make sure your license is valid & your insurance is paid off!

so weird seeing cars pulled over in the left instead of the right 🤔🤔

So happy my state got rid of the registrations stickers. Plate scanners can tell the cop immediately if it's registered or not, no need to keep adding stickers.

I've never understood why registration expires in the US. Here in France You buy a car, register it to you, and that's it. Only changes when you sell the car. And even then, the plate stays the same on the car during it's lifetime.

@@Saitama_San222 In America you need your car to pass emissions every year to receive your registration for the year. I think after 15 years you no longer need emissions but still must register the vehicle. State needs the money for roads etc.

So, the car was already about four months expired on registration when it was stolen? Great way to show that you don't pay attention to or care about actually following the laws and keeping your car legal...

I am guessing based on the dates, it was probably registered up through June if 2023, then when it was stolen, they suspended the tag and that was back to Feb 23 -maybe when they first registered the car(that’s just a guess). Something funky with the dates. But they should have been more attentive when they got the car back. People driving around with expired tags, DLs and no insurance is costing the rest of us following the rules a lot more money.

Having a child with autism is not a justification. It is clear that there was inadequate planning, and the responsibility to pick him up was known. These are simply excuses, and she is only regretful for being caught.

The more you think you have to explain your actions, the more likely it will look bad for any us.

I noticed how multiple drivers stopped in the left turning Lanes when he pulled them over. The Officer didn't say anything about this, but doesn't the Law require drivers to pull to the right-most curb when stopped? Deputy Sloup never lets it go unmentioned. They should be written up for that. Whatever happened to Drivers Ed?

Kind officer! One ticket instead of three. We need more cops like this guy.

So in Florida if you don’t pay a ticket your license get suspended and taken away. You have to pay the ticket to get your licensed reinstated and the you got to order a new license. On top of that, since your license is suspended, he can tow your car or not allow you to drive away because you don’t have a valid license.

Because it's not illegal to install them. That's on the driver. I agree it bugs me too. It's definitely a safety issue.

If someone spoke/slurred like the first cop, they’d get pulled out of the car for possible DUI

You would be surprised how much people don’t pull to the right for any emergency vehicle. People turn stupid as soon as they see flashing lights behind them.

Speeding to pick up a child in the rain??? Everyone knows children are always so careful about crossing the street, especially when they want to get out of the rain. Since cars know to come to a stop faster when the ground is wet, that should be safe.

Momma: the school won't release your kids especially if you aren't there. Time management is a skill lacking of most Florida drivers.

Mercedes drivers: seemingly above that law and knowledge of those laws for vehicles pertain only to drivers in "other" cars. That is a clear example of the entitlement group.

Come to US1. In Dade. We need to have something for people on their phones

It's interesting they prefer a warning so they don't have to pay out of pocket. Not this officer.

Let’s not pretend that cars DONT stop in the rain. Cellphones are way worse than speeding by 17 miles. Speed limits were set a million years ago. Time to learn to give people a break for the first 10 miles over instead of sticking it to people. Thanks for keeping us safe though. Let’s be friends, not adversaries.

That’s a really horrible excuse to tell a cop well there was traffic back there and I was just trying to get around it so I sped up and got around everybody. That’s a really horrible excuse.

because the current license number is suspended, so when you pay to reinstate it, it is basically a new license with a new number.

So, let everyone do whatever they like... get rid of all limits and allow people to make it up as they go. That'll work well, we've all seen the dashcam videos that show how stupid so many drivers are. Don't worry about anyone else on the road, just do what you like. Nearly 50% over the posted speed in the wet.. no problem.... SMH

There is no law that says you must pull over to the right. When driving on a multiple laned road, if you happen to be in the left lane then you can pull over to the left in the turn lane because that is the safest option as opposed to moving two or three lanes over to get to the right.

It absolutely will. If they stomp on the brakes it will hydroplane. Higher speeds, less reaction time, longer stopping distance. It’s not smart to drive like that in that type of weather.

Usually, from what I've observed on the road, it's the guys who mainly speed and drive recklessly, and with women, it's more often distracted driving (like on the phone) for some reason. I wonder why.
