More unmarked cars, more plate readers, more motorcycles with radar, more aggressive driver units, more camera's mounted on street poles to catch people involved in crimes (catches the plate on the car), more tickets, larger fines. The only way these frustrated NASCAR drivers will get it is if they get more tickets. Watch their insurance go up!

More police departments need to make videos like this! I’m not from Coral Springs, but it’s nice to see the type of work they do and how professional they are.

If they're driving and neither the driver nor the passenger speak english, how di they read any of the highway signs that explain how they're supposed to be driving lawfully.

I could be wrong, but I thought i read somewhere that Frank from Fridays with Frank had been fired from 2 previous departments and is on the Brady List for fudging paperwork. I believe Maricopa County was one of his previous places of employment.

@3:10 - I cannot ever remember leaving the house to drive without my wallet. It lives with my keys right inside the door. The only time I was ever discovered without my license on me was in a boat. Got a random search during a holiday weekend. I don't carry my wallet on a boat, but I leave it in the car. I know my drivers license number by heart in that event. IT helps to have a solid memory.

No, the license plate does Not have to be fixed to the rear "CENTER" of the vehicle. but it does have to be fixed to the rear of the vehicle. Some vehicles are equipped with the license plate mounted to the left rear or center.

Not quite. Florida's statute (Florida Statute 316.605) requires in part that "[e]very vehicle...shall...display the license plate or both of the license plates assigned to it by the state, one on the rear and, if two, the other on the front of the vehicle, each to be securely fastened to the vehicle outside the main body of the vehicle not higher than 60 inches and not lower than 12 inches from the ground and *no more than 24 inches to the left or right of the centerline of the vehicle* ."

The very few times I've been stopped after driving for 60 plus years, before the officer even gets to my window I have my license, rig, insurance in hand. Why is it such a surprise that that's what any officer will be asking for?`

@Scuffed clips unfortunately you are wrong and Ryan is correct. In Florida, you can take the drivers license test in Haitian Creole as well as Spanish. There are other states with high Hispanic populations that allow the test be taken in Spanish there as well. Now for the Florida CDL you are required to speak basic English, especially if you transport explosive chemicals.

Speeding on surface and residential streets is rude and potentially dangerous. They should raise the speed limit on highways and enforce lane discipline more closely.

Was that Tahoe a cop car, or was it a fire chief's vehicle? Since it had all red lights instead of red and blues or all blue

I think some vehicles (in some states) can switch only one colour on at a time, or any combination, depending on the situation..(@5:49 it has blue lights flashing at the top of the window, but not @6:15) Although I can only remember it being blue lights if only one colour is active. Here it might just be to show that it's being used as a camera chase car, not an "active" cop car.... maybe?

@@iffracemThat was just red and white, no blue. Our fire apparatus automatically cut the front facing white lights off when it’s put into park, presumably that’s what happened there when the white was gone.

Where I live 3 months mandatory license suspension for speeding as much as any of these drivers. More if second offence. Fines and warnings for those speeds seem insane to me.

3 lane road and it's 40mph. That's a bit low.

If that many people are comfortable driving 48-53 mph on that 4-lane highway, perhaps the speed linits are set way too slow and enforced way too seldom. When the norm is to run 45 and one day, you run 48 or 53, you're not being reckless.

I understand your reasoning, and on an open freeway or highway I'd agree. But not with so much traffic and driveways + pedestrian access. I've heard of some roads where the mean speed was observed over a period of time, and the speed limit set to that speed, but they were always major highways with little to no connected side roads And really, sinse when has "majority rule" been a safe way to set behaviour? There are more people who are not Christian in the world than who claim they are... does that mean by the "majority rule" idea Christianity should be done away with?

He gave the mom traveling to the clinic a warning and cited the driver on the way to the job interview. He quite literally told her he understood the urge to get her child medical help and offered to call an ambulance if it was that serious. Just because you're a "working person" doesn't negate traffic laws or road safety. Just based on the fact he has enough service marks going up his sleeve to his elblow, I imagine in the 35+ years he's been a law enforcement officer, numerous lives were saved, accidents prevented, and violent calls he responded to.

The excuses of the Florida driver are insane. New York has better drivers. I should know, I grew up there. The level of speeding and total disregard for other motorists is staggering.
