I have enjoyed your videos for a few months, and yesterday I was complimented on my appearance in a lovely way. I was talking to one of the sales associates in the department store. They answered my question and said, "You are so pretty; everything you wear is so simple, but together they create a great look. I wish I could learn how to dress like you". I‘m 25, so my teens were in the ultra skinny jeans era. I refused to try wide leg trousers, but Lydia got me to try some. And omg, I never wanna go back. It’s so comfy and it looks bomb. 😍

A great alternative to the Hermès sandals you showed are the Criss Cross sandals with buckles from Massimo Dutti in the tan color. Very comfy and super stylish

That’s how it’s been here in the northeast NY; pouring one minute, sunny the next. And so much flooding. For a little while the Empire train rail was knocked off, because the foundation moved from under the tracks.

I can't find a good pair of white trousers for the life of me here in the Czech Republic 😭 Either they're polyester which I really don't want for summer, too short (I'm 176 cm with long legs) or have white pockets that shine through which also looks terrible in my opinion. I don't give up though 💪

I can relate! I have been looking for a great pair of white trousers forever! Most of the ones I've tried on are slightly see-through because I tried mostly linen trousers. But yes, if you want trousers that are breathable and cool for the summer, they do need to be a linen or linen blend trousers. You can find trousers that are made of cotton or viscose fabric if you want less see through. They're another option. Best to find nude undergarments to wear with your white trousers, so you look seamless. Good luck in finding the right pair! Once you find the right pair, you know you'll love them and can wear them forever! 😊

After many summers I found nice white pants and I had to cut the long pockets.

The northeast of the US has missed it being summer too. It’s barely stopped raining since the first weekend of June.

Steve Madden has shoes similar to the Hermes sandals you highlighted. And an excellent price.

The biggest issue with a capsule wardrobe is the fact that not every top goes with every bottom. The thing you do so well is pairing the right shape on top and bottom. It just can’t be done with every piece in a capsule.

I'm sorry but I'm not understanding your comment. It didn't make sense to me. The whole meaning and purpose of having a capsule wardrobe is to have pieces that you can wear with ever other piece in your capsule. It should save you money from purchasing excessive clothing. And you should be able to pinpoint your style and have an outfit for every occasion. Every single top that Lidia showed went with every bottom she showed. If you can't interchange the pieces in the capsule wardrobe that you create then to me, it would seem your not designing it properly. Just my opinion and what I was taught but each to their own. @@marycosgrove1587 but they don’t. For example a cropped top may look good with a skirt but not good with trousers. Or a button down may suit one bottom and not another.

I agree! The whole 'wear it on the beach, dress it up for evening' thing that is often the principle of capsules doesn't seem to take account of suncream, sweat, crumpling, etc! But maybe I'm messier than most 😅

Beach cover ups should always be considered separate items in your luggage. Unless your holidays are spent in climates where you won't sweat 😅

I had exactly this problem. I’ve recently switched to CeraVe facial moisturising lotion AM factor 50 because I had a skin issue. It’s not particularly cheap compared to the one o was previously using so I don’t use it on my body BUT since using I haven’t had any problems with ‘yellow neck’ 😀
