I have to say I haven’t watched your channel in years because I kind of moved away from watching fashion content so much, but this was such a good video and it was so lovely to see how your style has evolved. Really inspiring and beautiful. I’d love to see more examples of items that are similar to these expensive pieces with a slightly lower price tag so more of the Arket H&M Zara prices if possible, in another video. You look so effortlessly chic and beautiful in all of these pieces and it’s definitely a style I really admire, although as a mum of two who lives in Devon I don’t really think I dress like this often, and in the summer I find myself moving away from tank tops and joggers and wearing floral dresses mostly because otherwise they never see the light of day in our climate 😂 but I do love a linen shirt and I love the way that you wear those more tailored yet wide leg trousers and billowing shirt dresses that nip in at the waist - very much Roman Holiday vibes with Audrey Hepburn. Definitely inspired to try some more looks like this. 🙏

I’d like a move to how to recreate the looks with cheaper brands too. I also love the content.

May I just say, that dress you are wearing is stunning on you. The addition of your hair scraped back and the classic gold hoops is perfection.

You look fabulous, thanks for the styling tips. I know this is controversial but I think a big element is your slim frame; clothes hang nicely and this helps with the style x

I love the ‘effortless but polished’!!!As somebody who is getting closer and closer to 60, and, having watched so many styling and fashion videos over the past few years, I think it’s important just to put on what we feel fabulous in. I think all the visuals you give us are so helpful! And, our style might change over the years. And it’s OK! I tend to gravitate toward your style, although I like things a little more tailored possibly than you. But, I really have found that the sandals you’ve been wearing very recently I’ll once I’m going to give a try. Sometimes I feel like the ones that are heavy in fabric or construction right across the top of the toes can really look heavy at the bottom. I’m going to look for the links for those strap he flat sandals you wear! Lydia, thank you thank you thank you for putting so much work and time into giving us helpful guidelines and not rules!💕💕💕

I think the classic A-line skirts and dresses are especially comfortable to wear in warmer weather, and they have a polished, elegant and feminine look. I like your neutral colour palette of ecru, tans, white and black, which keep things simple and elegant as well, and they are easily elevated by the accessories worn. One of the most important features of a summer wardrobe is the quality of the fabrics. Linens, good cottons and silks make all the difference to helping one stay cool and elegant and fuss free.

I love both your style of dressing and your style of presenting info ♥️. Practically everybody does introductions, but so few make meaningful conclusions!

Love your videos, great tips, I'm trying to reset my wardrobe style and I find this video particularly helpful, I do like a little bit more color so I like to add it with accessories like shoes, a bag or a scarf...

Really enjoyed this video. Since sorting out my wardrobe and enjoying neutrals, textures and features, I have put together so many outfits and noticed I am adding minimal accessories, to compliment these.

I like how you pointed out how relaxed fits can look more refined. I never thought about how tight some of my clothing is, especially after a few washes when they've shrunk im going to put more attention to the care so they don't shrink as much.

I only recently discovered your channel and now every night I go to bed early and spend and hour or more looking at your old posts. Love your style and your advice. I was in JCrew today. Don’t know if you know that company. But I was searching for a new white blouse, which I managed to find. The sales person told me she liked my style and I said, well, it hasn’t changed since 1965! And it’s true. I’ve always bought classic designs and invested in quality clothes and shoes. Now seeing those little cropped jackets, like Chanel, and I’m remembering wearing them in the 60’s because they were made fashionable by Jackie Kennedy. Trends always come back in and I am loving some of my favorites back in style again. If I was still a size zero, as I was back then, I wouldn’t have had to replace a thing. 😂

I live in the mountains in the summer because the desert where I live in the winter is 110° or more every day. It only gets up to about 80° in the summer in the mountains so I wear shirt’s over a tank because I am in my 60’s 🇺🇸 you have helped me know what to wear , with my summer shoes 😀
