This collection was absolutely awesome! All the plants that you received from Lynn and they're just little babies are so challenging I'm sure. I absolutely love succulents and some cactuses and lithops. For some reason my baby toes died when I replanted them I have one leaf that's hanging on that I had put in another pot so I hope it makes it. Everything you have looks just spectacular happy growing from Tampa Florida Libby here 👉👵👈

Hello beautiful garden! How do you water your garden? I have almost the same plants and setup like yours. I deep water my plants every 2 weeks. I also mist spray them everyday early morning. The plants get full early morning sun till noon. Thankyou sub

Shane do you fertilise the rebutias very lightly or not at all? I had rebutias and found they etiolate easily despite other cacti being fine

Peter Clarke Hi peter,ive been growing Rebutia for over 20 years and I find them to be easy plants to grow and flower.Firstly they need a very bright aspect in full sun as they are mountain cacti from high up in the Andes in South America,I used to feed once a month until last year, now I give them a feed in may and july and early September, 2/3 feeds is ok,You don't want soft growth which can lead to rot in winter time,cold wintering is also recomended for plant health and good flowering,I have left mine out in an unheated greenhouse over winter as long as the plants are bone dry ,but I usually leave them in an unheated room in winter.

Slugs get electrified by the copper tape 😲🤤

Hi Shane. I love your collection! Can you tell me the name of the very 1st hanging cactus we see in the video? You said it's name towards the end, but I thought you said "poor cactus". I can't find an example of it by that name. Did I misunderstand you?

Hi Amber, the cactus that you are referring to is called Aporocactus or commonly called the rat tail cactus, this is an epiphytic South American cactus which grows in rainforests so needs the same growing requirements as Epiphyllum and Christmas cactus etc.

Why better pots? None of my plants suffer because of the pots I choose. I use plastic terractta and ceramic and recycled cans and my own compost.
