Except by the time OP figured this out, the other woman already had a track record of coming to their house just to rudely rub it in. Friend was incredibly offended that the man stealing, rude golddigger, who took pleasure in lording it over wasn't saved from taking away someone not as valuable as she first thought, and demanded the wife tells her cheater's social media handles so she could do the warning herself.

People who say "I don't want my kid to grow up in a broken home" when infidelity is involved it is broken already. It's better to be separated and try to salvage what you can than stay together and let the resentment and pain fester. Yeah… I think that should be the first red flag. No one deserves to be cheated on or abused of course, the girl should probably feel lucky she dodged a bullet with that guy, and she found out her sister is a terrible person. So she honestly came out winning in this story.

Story 1: Holy crap, OOP's ex is UNHINGED. Hope she never runs into him, sucks she had to go NC with Elliott, he was the only person who actually stuck up for her. Sister was so delulu in her post, but as twisted as it sounds, I'm hoping him putting her in the hospital has opened her eyes to just how much she's fucked up. Especially given 2 of her siblings have basically had to go underground due to threats on their life, and the other is locked away in rehab. St2" Dale is a manbaby, he's not a father to his son. He's a friend to his son. And he's living vicariously through that son. Thinking he's cool and his son needs a vehicle. His shity behavior got him in trouble

Story 1: Sad for OP, but in a lot of ways the sister's betrayal did OP a huge favor in getting her to NC both sister and cheating boyfriend. Right off the bat, according to OP, the boyfriend started abuse tactics against OP. And if insensitive brother is also an asshole he can NC too. It would be interesting to know if the abuser was using the same verbal abuse tactics on the sister.

just get rid of those two. take several years off dating and get some therapy to become healthier in order to avoid these types of jerks

Story 1: I’m almost not surprised, as sad as it is, it tends to be the norm for siblings to constantly backstab each other when they had abusive parents or horrible childhoods as it breeds a sort of entitlement to thinking they deserve something even if it means getting it through nonferrous means as the sister showed. I don’t feel an ounce of sympathy for OP’s sister she choose to hurt her sister in the worse possible way because she felt she deserved her sister’s boyfriend more than her sister, she didn’t show an ounce of sympathy towards her sister so why should anyone have towards her. As for dealing with the ex boyfriend, I’m surprised no one tries to bait him into a trap, as people like that tend to be more predictable than one think as the only thing on their mind is their target. Especially since police are now looking for him, they could easily just bait into an area where she has complete control of the situations or get any of her friends to can at her friends to beat the guy and then have police called on him when he’s down.

Unfortunately, siblings sleeping with siblings boyfriend/girlfriend doesn't just happen in broken home. There are a lot of close nit family who do that too. It is just selfish people want what they want and don't care who they hurt on the process. As for getting together to trick the boyfriend, they are afraid of him, they are waiting for the police to catch him.

When i was young and stupid, I had two approaches towards bad boys- “I’ll love him so much and be so good to him that he’ll always love, cherish & protect me, never hurt me! We can heal each other!” mentality and “he’s so hot” with no care about how he’ll treat me. Yeah… neither of those mindsets result in healthy, lasting relationships. It is a bizarre phenomenon though, isn’t it? I was a “bad girl” back then and genuinely mentally ill, but I also had all these good, sweet guys interested in me too. Why? They could do so much better! Low self-esteem maybe, like “this is the best I can do?” The “I can fix him/her” delusion? It’s probably a bit different for everyone, but I won’t be surprised if those are the main two reasons people get attached to “bad boys” or “bad girls.”

The true bad faith isn't being in the hospital. If she wakes up and needs help she'll realize she has nobody to help her now. Her sister has literally cut contact. The only brother that actually cared about her is in rehab. And the older brother has had to dip as well. *First story* - I wish I could say that I was surprised by that update but I'm not. The BF came across as a manipulative arsehole from the start, mocking 1st OP and then making up to her with flattery and sweet words. That he turned out to be homicidal as well as narcissistic was foreshadowed by his 'gifts' to his ex and her older brother.
