Postpartum shedding happened for me around 3 months then did a double back at 6 months. I couldn’t be prepared for it. I felt like my grandedddyy! I wore the wigs completely glue-less and now It is growing in fast. I’m wearing my hair out again just filling the spaces with a lil eyeliner. You got this! If you feel bad use the Topik hair fibers and then a lil powder when the hair starts filling out again.

Oh mama it's ok I remember when it happened to me I freaked out so much but now 4 years later it's grown back much fuller also helped that I don't slay my edges. It going to be ok. She was so worth it. To be a mom is one of the best things in the world. Hang in there you look beautiful.

Love. I have my appointment for end of June to get a shaped cut and how to handle this new old hair. I'm taking out my braids after 2.5 years of braided styles transitioning to natural. Design essentials curly custard is always my go to! It I haven’t tried it on longer hair just my short cut!

Your hair looks really pretty 🤩 I admire your patience because after I wash and clump my coils, I literally go! It's much shorter when I get home 🤭, but I don't care.

I love Aunt Jackie's gels. I use don't shrink and ice curls. Wash and go's always look great with no over cast. I have used several different creams but I do an oil before I gel.

hi! i use the uncle funky too with another gel. the uncle funky also makes my hair feel kinda stiff but very defined. then if i add the water and gel right away i don’f have to redetangle!

OK.... I see the hair. I recently started my youtube channel and am documenting my natural hair journey. I love your results. We have the aunty Jack's ice curls in the Ugandan market but not the uncle funky's. There are other botanical gels like curl maker, As I am and mielle...... I will try this combination.

Steaming helps to reduce shedding and retain some/most of the hair gained during pregnancy (I recommend steaming from the beginning of pregnancy). I am 9 months postpartum.

Post pregnancy shedding is hormonal. You have to balance the hormone to help but not all of us deal with the imbalance

Just drink water etc. I’m 6.5 months postpartum and I haven’t lost that much hair at all. I think the braids did that. I was drinking 12 glasses of water, etc. Breastfeeding dehydrates you. Don’t go more than 2 weeks without washing your hair.

It's good that you dried your hair. I'm learning that we shouldn't let hair stay wet for too long or get it wet a whole lot. It fatigues the hair.

Great result!!! 👍Guess Aunt Jackie and Uncle Funky are married in another life 🤣 I haven't done a wash n go in a while but I usualky cheat with a mousse. I put a ton of mousse in very big sections to predefine my hair then add the gel.

I'm using Flora & Curl mousse because I'm very picky with ingredients lol but if I wasn't I would also try Design Essentials Almond & Avocado mousse, Camille Rose Spiked Honey mousse, Mielle Organics Pomegranate & Honey Curl Defining mousse. I live in France so we don't have the Doux mousse def or Miche Set gel to foam mousse but they seem effective with gels

Sitting under the dryer allows your hair to set the way you want it to. You can air dry but it will take a long time/shrinkage may take over.

Genn!! Did you only used 2 stylers? And you added UF’s while in the shower? 😮never knew that you could do this.
