Crazy how wesley's legs have improved. They were his lacking part and now are strong and as big as others competitors. Great job wesley! For me you were 2nd place, the brasilian guy had 0 clasic shape.

I feel like you deserved better placement and possibly first place. It’s hard not to be drawn to the biggest tallest guy there. I salute you for your graciousness in the loss and using it as motivation to bring a better package to the Olympia enjoy your pod, casts and blog. Thank you for your content and professionalism.

A true champion. Wes assessed his condition and the competition, called out their strengths and the reasons why they likely won. He didn’t make excuses. It’s evident that he’ll take this information and apply it to his plan to ensure he gets better for the O. It just compounds the fact that Wesley is intelligent, driven, humble AND strategic.

Agreed, couldn't control his midsection. Upper body too big, bad quads. No flow. Looks like 212 or low level Open guy. Only reason he's making weight is his underdeveloped legs compared to his upper body. The judges need to figure out wtf they're doing, it's a joke that he took second in a Classic show.

Wesley, I don’t know if you read these comments but you could have easily won this show. I noticed two things in particular. First in the front relaxed pose your shoulders seemed crunched forward. Shoulders back, chest out would look better. Second, when they call for the favorite classic pose, you can make a better choice. That twisting double bicep is not showing your best. You dominate in the front double bicep shot and the most muscular shot for you is amazing so if that can be your classic pose, smash it. I thought you won every comparison shots but the back double biceps. Great showing for you. I would have scored you first, ruff diesel second and Fabio third.

Yeah I gotta agree with ya…… I’ve never liked his classic pose!!…..that side Mantis pose looks incredible on him and he hardly ever uses it. Take the head off and he looks just like Arnold in it. Yeah, he could choose any pose and it would look better than the on he does. And yes, he also needs to hit that front relaxed better too. He would swallow the rest of the lineup if he would open up and extend his arms out

Agree about his front relaxed pose 100%, but the twisting fdb is a very good pose for Wesley. It really gives the illusion of tapering his waist. The problem is, it has to be hit and presented at the perfect angle to make the best impression.

Leg improvements are amazing. Your physique is ideal. Don't get discouraged! If you keep going the judges will have to recognize you as champion one day. Many greats from the past stopped one show too soon! You are what classic should be.

I have to admit the Brazilian guy had a strong back, very big muscles, and well-defined lines. His legs were big as well, although not as sharp as yours Wesley. Overall, I think it's still a good enough place to be in the top 3, especially considering you already got the Olympia confirmation, so this wasn't so much of a necessary 1st place.

Brother, he have 91 kg, 212 its equivalent as 96kg. He would have only 5kg to grow he would be "outmuscled" by tinny guys like Clarida that look like a mini Coleman. He wouldnt be a really top tier bb on 212, he can be a great open. But cmon, open is WAY more dificult than any other category and the guys need to use lot more drug, training much heavier and eat like animals. If he have the weight to do classic why he shouldnt? And why HE shouldnt win? The only rule is "do the weight" and he did.. Wesley was on great and have a great line, Fabio is more muscular, but both could win and no one would be mad. Buf Ruff really shouldv been third..

I do not understand why you werent at least 2nd. You can ofc argue for ruff being first but fabio in second(?) this is no hate what so ever but to me fabio does not nearly look as classic as you. moreover when I watched it I thought that he was having problems controlling his midsection. No real vaccum as well and no deep cuts in his quads.

You looked great! However, I think they got the rankings right if I'm being objective.

Regardless of position, you are very classy in the way you handle your business. Congrats on an absolutely crazy looking physique....can't wait to see what you bring to the Olympia. Safe travels!

Wes, you should have been first or second. The second place guy isn't Classic whatsoever. Too big in the upper body, no separation in the quads, blocky midsection with poor control in the transitions. He needs to go to Open. I think if you can continue to bring up the hamstrings, glutes, and low back, you'll be placing ahead of Terrence in the future. Your condition was great here. I also think changing a few poses to be more hip tilted a la Arnold would help display your physique, like the way Terrence hits his abs and thighs.

This is only a loss if you think the judges had a clue. You were the only one placing who wasn't fighting the steroid gut bloat best left in open. Those judges need their "classic" eyes checked and once again you don't get what you deserve because there is no consistency in judging what classic physique is. Keep fighting the good fight. Congratulations! 3rd place ain't bad at all. Top four all looked really amazing. I have to disagree with many of the comments here and say your glutes look fine. I'm interested what your coach's feedback will be. The one suggestion I have, during the back double biceps, lift your heel up a bit more and try to emphasize the calf muscle a bit more.

You deserved the win in my opinion. The tall height paired with big muscles makes you look like an absolute beast. I hope there will be a shift towards taller phisiques honestly.

Remember we was going back and forth the other day I told you tall is not an advantage Wesley was very good here and way taller than Terrence but still came in third and this is classic. All that stuff you were saying about dwarfed means nothing that not how IFBB show are judged I tried to tell you that. Next time when you make prediction about who's going to win a show throw height out the window because it's not taken into consideration at all, it's as irrelevant as hair color.

That was a bit of a surprise-I feel 3rd place was harsh. It’s hard to tell watching the competition on a screen, but from my perspective I had Wesley scraping 1st place with the Brazilian chap in 2nd. Not an easy task separating them.
