My best indoor 4D flying so far | Shocky Su-29 4D | Reverse ESC | Tobi-Style

Ғылым және технология

My 4D journey continues. Finally I did make a video of my 2020 Su-29 4D. For this indoor season I did some minor changes to my setup and it works just perfect. The propeller is now my ultralight selfmade 9x3 4D and it's again equiped with a 2-axis vector steering. The performance is just crazy with this lightweight plane and it flies so well.
If you are interested in a beginner 4D setup, I did put a link down below.
Have fun watching #MakeDepronShockysGreatAgain
If you don't want to miss anything in the future, I would be verry happy if you subscribe to my channel and leave a "like" if you enjoyed this video. When you have some more questions/suggestions/wishes or something else, just put them in the comments (best in german or english).

    This is wild. I just got my first 3D plane and I can’t imagine being this good and even attempting this type of flying.

    I watched this video about five minutes ago, and am still smiling broadly. While the flying is astounding, the engineering behind it has to be respected as much.

    Are you a 3d heli pilot? You’ve basically got all the heli stuff nailed. Swap your roll and yaw axis and you’re flying a heli. I’m impressed by how fast you can reverse, without variable pitch.

    Why do the ailerons go a different way when slowly hovering down vs punching up when inverted?

  • @keithengland1250

    @keithengland1250

    11 ай бұрын

    The air changes direction so the air over the ailerons also changes direction so they have to change direction to rotate the same way. Don’t forget prop wash is blowing down so doesn’t blow strongly over the ailerons.

    This motor can reverse direction .. and this is a special propeller which is 4D and can therefore rotate and produce thrust EITHER way

    He's using a flight controller. There is no way you're transitioning in and out of nose down, hover perfectly vertical every time. Not to mention moving up and down while nose down.
