@@steveneichhammer8108 that’s what I was thinking. It’s very mid on a like 60-70 degree day but I’ve been there for two like 90 degree days and oh boy. On those days it contends with velocicoaster for my number one spot. If it was more consistent it probably would be my number 1 tbh

I actually ride skyrush for the first time and it did not disappoint. I was addicted from the start.

For those of you who have summer plans for Wildcat’s Revenge: Go around 12-2, that’s when the line is usually shorter

I was there on Tuesday and a few times it was a sub-20 minute wait. There would only be a few people before the lockers. Then again being July 4th looks like I got the good end of that crowd where people would rather be at the beach

I couldn't wait to see your reaction to Wildcat's Revenge. Hershey is my home park and I was super hyped when I saw the RMC announcement last year. I had never been on any RMC coasters before now so i have nothing to compare to, but I think it's easily the best coaster in the park. I'll be looking out for your review!

Happy you guys were able to get on Wildcat!! I was there on that Wednesday and it was unfortunately shut down😔 I’ll be back next week though to get my ride in though hopefully!!!

I completely agree with you about sky rush, it’s such a shame the air time gets killed by the restraints, that being said I’m 250lbs, I’m sure everyone’s experience may vary

Was just here a few weeks ago And Skyrush was by far my favorite ride in the park! I agree with you on how Hershey got everything right with Wildcat! Lockers and ops were so awesome!

Glad to hear your thoughts on Wildcat's Revenge! I need to get more rides on it and more RMCs in general, right now i have it between Steel Vengeance and Lightning Rod. I think I'm most hyped you popped it above the Phantom for best in the state. Sophie's review was great!!

I think that Lightning Racer needs to get more love. I rode it for the first time in years yesterday. Rode in the back seat of the red train. It was hauling and is still pretty smooth. It really surprised me. What a great racing dueling woodie. Hershey Park. Coaster nirvana. Great video! Keep up the good work! My love for coasters began in the summer of 1977 when I got on the Rebel Yell at Kings Dominion. I will never forget the terror of going up that lift hill and looking over to the older guy next to me who said " your gonna love this". I actually thought that I was going to die throughout the ride but I loved it. I have been close to dying ever since that day every summer. I am older now and approaching retirement and had not ridden coasters for a number of years before I decided to get in the car and go to Hershey Park yesterday. It was a beautiful day. I was reminded of the magic that coasters provide. Thanks for giving some love to my response. I look forward to seeing more great videos.

You were there like 2 days after me...I was there on the day WR was closed all day! This was one of my favorite vlogs of yours (even with the 😂😂Skyrush hatred). I'm so glad you mentioned the locker system on WR. I was so mad when I had to pay for a locker just to go on InvadR at Busch Gardens last year. The WR locker setup is perfect.

I was at Hershey literally the day before you, unlucky on timing! I did get lucky with Wildcat though, as we were told it wouldn't open for the entire day (after being closed all of the previous 2), but come late afternoon, we saw it running and managed to score the ride. Really enjoyed it, and also loved Candy, Storm Runner, and yes - even ThighCrush Hope one day our paths cross! :)

I just got lucky and saw Chris and his wife (Sophie and Amy were in the car I guess) at Six Flags St Louis! Super nice and they gave my kids stickers and buttons!

My rollar coaster goals were last time I went to Hershey Park in July this year were Wildcats Revenge, CandyMonium, and Jolly Rancher Remix. And I rode on all three of these boys.

I’ll never understand the Lightening Racer hate. It’s easily one of the top rides in the park and vastly underrated.

Regardless what people think of the coasters at Hersheypark themselves, the park does have a solid lineup all around. Hersheypark is my home park as I only live 10 minutes away so at the start of the video I was like hey that's my neck of the woods.

I like how Sophie appreciates long rides. So do I, especially if coasters aren't a walk on. I can see trying out Skyrush in the back in a middle seat, but it's not exactly my biggest priority. Thanks for posting!

Wow, I missed you by two days, I went on Monday. Between the threat of rain and it being the day before the Fourth, the longest we had to wait was 45 minutes for Candymonium. Pretty successful trip

I rode wildcats revenge yesterday. I thought it was far superior to SteVe but I still prefer Candymonium for the best in the park.

After the disappointing start to coaster season I’ve had this year, I can’t wait to go back to Hershey Park. I still have half the credits to get, but I might skip out on Laff Trak since I hear its capacity is horrendous.

I had some of the best rides I’ve ever had on a roller coaster on a super hot day full trains end of day rides on wildcat and honestly it’s my number two rn it was insane. I think you would see this ride as s Tier if you got to ride it the entire end of the day.

I feel Sophie on the shoulder to head, I had whole partner into me on a lateral heavy flat ride at my local fair a couple of weeks ago. My ribs still hurt a bit.

I rode wildcats revenge yesterday. I loved it. It's still not better than Skyrush. I also rode candymonium for the first time, loved the first drop and the powerful floater airtime think it's better than Nitro. Nice video.

Hey airtime thrills! Havent seen you on my recommended feed in a while, and im glad youre back there! Anyways, im going to kings island on a school trip in august, any tips to save as much time as possible and best plan to try and fit as many rides in as possible? I havent been there in like 7-8 years now, and want to expirence everything i can.

Agree about Hershey getting everything right with Wildcat's Revenge...although I kind of miss the honking brakes! I took a bunch of friends there on the 26th. We had issues with storms closing rides, but half their coasters still delivered fun. I think Skyrush would be better if it wasn't so compact.

Buy or Sell: We will see another Zamperla Lightning coaster in the US/Canada before 2026

I know all rmcs have to warm up but Wildcat it's especially true and I think this goes for any "new" rmc except for maybe Arie lol. But Wildcat after 6-7pm is literally like an entirely different coaster than from the 10-2 version. Wicked cyclone is still my #1 but I have Wildcat right behind it!

Hi Chris. My son Alex and I rode WCR Tuesday and Wednesday. It actually has a violent transition near the end that threw us laterally with airtime and banged both of us. SkyRush again crushed our thighs with the restraints constantly getting tighter during the second half of the ride. It kills all the fun! Sophie has caught Alex with around 220 credits. I think WCR was #655 for me, so I'm still ahead of you, but not for long if you're going to Europe. I'm waiting for Primordial to open to finally visit Lagoon (the $800 flights from Detroit don't help) and the same story for Silverwood. I would then only have the Disney parks to visit to have hit every major or mid level park in America. There's a handful of tiny parks that I don't care if I hit. I can still get to 700 with only attending American and Canadian parks. Alex is 14 and I don't think my ex wife wants me to take him to Europe until he's 18. I'm 54 and am getting burned out by riding so many coasters in a short time. (500 from May 2018 - March 2023) The heat really effects both of us and neither of us fair skinned people can stand the sun...I know vampires that do better in the sun than me! lol It's getting super expensive to travel a lot and it's harder than ever to be an enthusiast. More power to you guys!

are you talking about that left turn where the track isnt banked and you come out of an airtime pop into it? If so, thats my only complaint with the ride too. I love it everywhere else otherwise but that transition... i dont understand

My first ride wasn't as violent in the back row, but my second ride we were in row 5 and it flung us real hard and my son didn't like that one bit. I think I'm like Chris and am starting to drop Skyrush out of my Top 10. WCR is now the best ride at Hershey.

Completely agree on Skyrush. Ive tried every seat...morning...late rides...everything. Trying to understand why people absolutely love it and I just dont understand. Its average at best

They should add 2 coasters. 1 should be a Vekoma Tilt Coaster thats themed to KitKat, and the 2nd should be a ride thats skyrush but WITHOUT THE KILLER LAPBARS AND VELOCICOASTER LAPBARS!

I have yet to go to Hershey Park but I've always heard its amazing, however those crowds look pretty dreadful! 😂 I'll have to take my chances soon 🤷‍♂️

What crowds? On the day he was there, a lot of the rides had walk one or station waits

I dare you to take the 40min walk from the closest full time bus stop in Charlotte to Carowinds (it only has 2 peak busses with 2 round trips a day that pass it)

as someone who practically lives at hersheypark, ive waited for this for a long time (wildcats revenge >>>>>>> skyrush btw)

Also the fact that Sophie has Lightning Rod as her number 1 but "hates launch coasters" is.....something.

Why is it all the people who don't appreciate roller coasters get to ride the most.

I could only go the week before Wildcat's Revenge opened, but it was still a great day. Agree about Skyrush, I don't get the hype at all despite having gone on it in 2 different years. Candymonium was amazing, easily dethroning Nitro as my favorite coaster in the northeast since I also keep missing El Torro. The airtime was so good on that ride. Also love Farenheight and Great Bear, awesome coasters. The rest of the lineup is solid, though Comet is rougher than it used to be. I also thought Julloy Rancher was very rough and banged my head despite everyone saying it's better with the new trains. No desire to ever get on another boomerang, and the worst coaster in the park now that Wildcat is revamped and better than ever.
