Hey Nick, Ya want to go back to 1967?! Here's how you do it: Go to eBay.com search for Aurora Slot Cars and POOF, you're there. Get whatever you need to start racing the slot cars again and let me know your progress. Recall what a BLAST it was tuning them up, the smell of the oil, hopping the slot cars up the way you want it and racing them it around the track?? Guess what??? It's still a BLAST!! Nick if all that doesn't put you back in 1967...watch an episode of the Partridge Family, that should do it, right? Have fun Nick

Wow! What a trip down memory lane! I customized a few Tjets back in the day myself. Removed bumpers, puddied and painted, stripes from other kits. Good fun. The orange car is a a Ford Maverick. Other Orange car and two others are a Chetah, designed and raced by Bill Thomas. And yes had fuel injected chevy engines. Great idea to use bodies from else where. 👍👍😎🇺🇸

Good morning, good video, you have some nice cars in your collection , I wished I had kept my slot car sets back in 1974 - 1978. I remember riding my bike to corner candy store, " it was like a Thrift store had toys, clothes, and much more " but anyway on the other side of the candy next aisle over was slot cars lined up on the glass shelving case, I think it was when the prices went up for the slot cars, those years was the best years, I remember buying slot cars, now don't know what happened to them. Too bad. Now 45 years later now I'm collecting slot cars and racing them with my son and daughter , my son really like racing, see you next video.

Hey Epic, Thank you so much for your kind words regarding my slot cars. I am so glad that you are having fun with your kids and the old slot cars. My dad got us boys the slot cars and I raised my kids playing with them and now my grand kids are having fun with them as well. Seem as though they're timeless.

Great collection Jeff. I love that you kept cars you had as a kid. Personally I have some that no matter how hard they are on the eyes, I could never let them go. You should see some of the paint jobs I've done at 12 years old. I should be finishing up your videos in about a week or so. Love 'em. Keep them coming.

Hey Sam, Thank so much for the kind words. Being a kid when we got these old slot cars, it was the thing to do, paint them, hop um up, bigger tiers etc. But after a bit, I realized, if I keep on like that, they'd never be in show room shape again. Hence I started to learn how to refurbish them. I think right now, I have over 600 slot car videos on KZread, I don't know of anyone who had told me they've watched them all, I don't think I've watched um all. Take care Sam, let me know if you need anything.

Nothing but impressive! Most of my original cars were stolen back in the early 80's. I still have a good amount of track including the T Jet loop the loop sections. I've just recently started looking for replacement cars and parts but the prices are just too high. Thanks for showing us your collection!

Hey Craig, I am so sorry to hear about your loss of the slot cars. It's let someone ripping away a bit of your childhood. Since slot car prices are high, I usually bid on eBay for the ones I know I can refurbish. If they're dirty, decals on um or need to be tuned up, they don't sell well. Those are the ones I go after. Craig if you need anything, let me know. Take care!!

I had that experience when I was a kid. I thought, coming down the street, one my favorite cars , the '70 Cuda! Then when it got close up, I was like what? This Ripple down the side , the longer nose? I was to find this was called the Dodge Challenger, and was not the Plymouth Cuda. I had become familiar with, and a huge fan of the '70 Cuda, and '70 Plymouth Duster from the Hot Wheels Diecast cars, and great Monogram Model Kits.

Those colorful bodies and frame parts! I think of those as Milestone kits. Great history, Mattel sponsored the real Snake & Mongoose with their Hot Wheels line, and Topper sponsored the Indy 500 Race cars in 1970 and '71. All way cool!
