Thank you showing those long nib markers. Tried others and all dried out in no time. Ordered the one you have. Hopefully will be a better product. Sincerely, Mark Micono Elizabeth, CO

Mine have lasted months you just have to keep them covered. I left one open for 10 minutes and dried but covered it and it came back. They're so cheap on Amazon I have 2 sets.

This is a vendor issue, not an Amazon issue. Amazon has no staff metallurgist.

Found the ones I ordered on eBay. $11 and change for eight of them including shipping and tax. Even the expensive ones I’ve had in past dried out with the cap on due to only occasional use where required. Hopeful these will be better.
Stood marker tip up until needed (rarely). We’ll see if it dries out.

Ordering online has failed to live up to the promise. It started better than this but I have tried twice to order a pair of pajamas from wal mart. Each time they sent me 4XL when I only ordered XL. I could get my whole body in one pants leg. I have similar horror stories for amazon. I think the problem comes from the both companies allowing small businesses to sell under their name. Some of these small businessmen know they can send the stuff they cannot get rid of any other way and it will wind up in the warehouse of the big company who will have reimbursed the customer. I guess they figure they can get out of refunding the money to the big company. I no longer pay for free shipping from Amazon. Cannot watch their tv channel. Not much difference in my shipping costs but they are less I think.

@@TheMiniMachineShop A lot of times they say "12 inches", but they really mean 300mm (11.81 inches). They always convert 1 inch to be equal to 25mm to make the math easier, which is why 5/16 inch is calculated as 5 / 16 x 25 = 7.8125mm. ----> Fuzzy math...

Won't be the last time you (we) get something not as advertised. At least Amazon will take it back. They got all specs wrong on that one.

It's a pain Dave. Don't buy from China, and unless it's ground, i.e. Silver steel (drill rod) always order oversize. I presume it's not to fix your lathe! :-)

@@piroman16tnt you're right tbf, I've got Chinese carbide milling cutters that are awesome. Like anything I suppose, if it's cheap anywhere, it's probably made cheap. Chinese metals & the like's of collets etc I've been less impressed, but that was buying cheap.
