These children's conditions weren't the result of diversity, it's because of a defect in one of several genes that produce or distribute melanin. It can happen to anyone.

Props to the step dad for being man enough to help take care of all these kids regardless of blood. That's a good man.

Fuck what their neighbors say, as you can see these kids, the non albinos and albinos are very sweet, and the parents are lucky that all their children are close and also lucky that their children seem respectful and open minded, thats all you can ask from a family, they protect eachother and love eachother.

underscore you It is a "disorder" in a sense that its a mutation. Not fully heritable. Their own children most likely won't turn out to be albinos. Even if two albinos have children. Sure that increases the possibillity but not by 100%. As Corrinna said there are skin and eye issues. Eyes are sensitive to light and skin burns. They don't have natural defense against sun as others do, Europeans included. But i do agree its unique.

There's a lot more complications than that and unfortunately there is a very disturbingly high risk for skin cancers. Even in young children. Blindness, balding another skin issues can occur as well. these are however beautiful children and a beautiful family

I felt the big brother, when we were little I was always there to protect my siblings from bullies. Nobody messes with my family. This is a beautiful family, they are very. Their step-father is looking after them as if they were his own.

I love how this beautiful family sticks together! Anyone bothering them need to be dealt with.

Tbh I like all skin types, I just wish they could be that skin colour and not have to suffer so harshly. I just want to give these children a hug. They deserve so much love for how much they suffer.

I just realized I was friends with an albino in 3rd grade. I didn't know she was one. I thought she was just pale white. She was very nice also.

A few summers ago I met a little girl with albino and she was the cutest thing. She was so sweet, friendly and full of energy. Her mom had to keep running after her with an umbrella since she kept taking her hat off and running under the sun😂

Gwen I dare you to find any scientific evidence that the white skin is cursed. I just hate this racism on both sides in this comment threat. Yes it it true that white people came from people with a darker complexion, since we all came from Africa,we were all Black in the beginning . As we went to the in comparison cold regions. A reason for the lighter is that people's skin didnt need as much Pigment /melanin in their skin to better receive UV-rays,hence why more white Kids were born in those countrys.

Not at all. The exterior is only a small part, while that which is on the inside is what`s important. This means that although they might look very different from their parents on the outside, they still have the genetical material derived from their parents and as such they`ll be close to identical to their parents genetically. In short terms, while they have a mutational effect on their melanin, their racial biology is not affected.

@@udaylunawat2163 incorrect.. what is your source of info? Melanin protects the skin from ultraviolet light. Without the Melanin, you're at a higher risk of skin cancer.. just google: albino risk of skin cancer.

I have a friend from Puerto Rico whose family has very dark skin. He's albino, though, and he looks a lot like these kids. He and his wife have adopted three beautiful children. His skin color-or lack thereof-does nothing to affect the great guy that he is.

I once had a roommate that had albinism but she never let it affect her she was very beautiful and even learned how to drive too. I hope these sweet kids don't let outside influences determine who they are. They seem like happy kids.

I am pretty sure whenever there is some news coverage about albinos living in any country other than the europeans or north americans the people behind the scripts sneak some "they consider it a curse" kind of made up nonsense, as if we from the south are tribal or backwards. I am brazillian myself and I can confirm, we don't consider it a curse! But if a child is born of a different color than the supposed combinations possible, we consider it cheating, unless proven the albino condition. Black and pardo can give out any color, minus yellow, african black and pasty white, normally.

@@mrj.kottari8453 Nope, it used to be the word used for people that are mixed red, black and white, but these days we consider just a mix of any 3 races and, as I did, we also use it interchangeably to reffer to people mixed as just black and white. But we do not consider mix of similar races only "classic races" as white, black, yellow, red (native), brown(indian, arab, islander asian). For example, if you are a mix of nordic white, south white, as italian, and arab white, as syrian, then we consider you just white, while some would call you light brown because of the syrian heritage (they are white, but because they are arabs people, like americans, call them just brown). I'm albino, but I don't have the light blue eyes like everyone else. I got very light green eyes, skin and hair like paper. And let me just say that this condition can be a pain in the ass. My eyesight sucks, I sunburn easily, ect. Also it's really hard to find foundation for albino skin...

It's not always easy protecting yourself from weather, further eye problems, bullying, uneducated People etc. But they are happy and enjoy life. Everyone has something they have to cope with in public by uneducated fools, ailment, disease, skin color, none of it matters! We are all human. We all need love and compassion! It seems pretty dehumanizing to just refer to them as "the albinos". Could have at least said "the albino children".

@@cynopt better yet "the children, who have albinism..." because by referring to their condition first draws attention to their condition, not them. For example, "the boy, who has diabetes..." sounds less harsh than "the diabetic boy"

What kind of bullshit question is that? 'Why wont you let us tease them" makes me want to go nuts when people ask stupid things like that.
