So many amazing looking places. I visited the floating restaurant this year on the recommendation of a local. Any chance you could add the google map links for the places you visited please? Would make finding these gems so much easier.

What a fun trip Marion, never went South in Thailand so this was fascinating to watch and learn about their special foods. Thank you for taking us along, always a good time.

I'm a devout foodie. There is nothing like experiencing the foods of a country with a native who can take you to the places known for their fabulous locally sourced foods & dishes. I always say that you know a place has great food if the locals eat there regularly. The crab, lobster, & bass looked to die for; I'm so jealous.

From a Thai person's perspective, the shop with the metal sheet roof looks like it has the best food. Also if you're interested in southern Thai food you have to try stinky beans stir-fried in some way. It's a controversial ingredient and I'm sorry for gatekeeping but you haven't tried Southern Thai food if you haven't had stinky beans.

Growing up as a young lad in Phuket, this has certainly bring back many memories. The friendliest locals compare to the city folks.

What a fun time. I think someday I would like to visit the area and try some of those delicious dishes! Definitely need to get some Dim Sum!

Brilliant! I love these type of videos.

That’s green desert you eat is called KHA NOM TIEN (KHANOM=Desert and TIEN in Thai means candle) The color of the powder lol like to the color of the candle. So it's called Khanom Tien. The filling inside is steamed green beans stir-fried with coconut sugar. Wrapped in banana leaves and then steamed until cooked.

I lived next to Chok Chai Dimsum for many years. They have the best "muu grob" as well! The fried ice cream was a nice find hidden near Bangkok Hospital in Phuket Town.

I’m so jealous 😂 looks so yummy as I’m a Thai in Australia for decade only find Thai food in Thai town Sydney ❤❤

Watching this I wanna go back to Phuket where I had been maybe 4-5 times. I love especially the seafood n noodles. I don’t remember going to old Phuket town.
