I’m also two years in and still love my e208. Longer trips just need a bit of planning but every day things get easier.

Great stuff :-)

The speed camera noise is linked to the voice commands volume, so if you turn this up (i.e. when using siri or Google Assistant) then the speed camera alert will also be as loud. I've done loads of long distances in my e208 and would never go back to ICE!

I've had this car for a year and a half, and I love it. I am from Slovenia, and drving mostly on countryside roads, also uphill everyday. I have driven 22k km, average consumption for last 5000km is 13,4kW/100km. Last winter it was 17,8kW/100km. Charging at home, from Solar power plant.😁 Future is electric💯

My 208 is of October 2021. It can do 380km in summer, about 320 in winter. But you have to almost never touch the brakes and recover almost everything decelerating. It's fun.

@@TheFutureisElectric I always drive in B for that purpose. I'm in Italy :) north eastern part of Italy. I take frequent trips to the Alps, Milan, Rome also from Vicenza. It's the GT model, Vertigo Blue as yours 👍 best color ever

Over 2 years, zero problems. Everyday fun! 🎉 Using N to coast and that gives me great range.

About the range: I bought a MY2022 2008GT in December 2023 with 11'000km on the clock. Here in Sweden it's a lot cooler, specially this time of year. about zero degrees Celsius, or cooler. Charging to 100% @11kWh (Built in 11kWh inverter.) the GOM (Guess O Meter) shows about 298-302km range. Yesterday (feb-29) @ 4c ambient temp. Charging with a fast charger to 100% it showed me 310km. I suspect it's due to the 100kWh charge speed heated up the battery to 27c for a moment. :) Realistic range (Even though stated @ 300km by the GOM) I get 240-250km total range this time of year. Only had the car for just over two months, so no numbers for summer temps yet. But 250km is enough for a normal work week. I don't have any charger of my own, so charging once a week at work on a 22kWh charger. Works better than expected. Range is still a ghost messing with my mind, downgrading from a big diesel SUV that gave real range of 1300km "on a full charge".

I'm from the UK and I drive a Peugeot 206. I want my first electric car to be the e208. I did actually test drive it and i loved it.

I am just on the one year mark with my e-208 and i just hit 11000 km. My range is about 320 but only in eco mode. On normal is about 300 and in sport it goes about 250km. In Romania the ranges differ a lot because we have hot summers and cold winters. The least i got was in the winter on aport mode and with all the bells and whistles on and i got 130km:))

I'm saving around £120 per month driving to work in my EV. That's compared to train fares! I also get to work much faster, even when roads are busy. Crazy UK...

I am waiting on the new Peugeout e-208 GT, from what I understand the 2023 PEUGEOT e-208 will adopt the PEUGEOT e-308’s new drivetrain . It will then offer up to 38 km and 10.5% more range, enabling it to reach up to 400 km on the WLTP cycle (certification in progress). Not only that the updated facelift looks awesome to. Luckily my new house has a drive so it makes perfect sense to switch to electric now. Great video btw.

My future is electric, just got a Stella(ntis)r Deal on the 2023 e-208 für 106€/month for 2 years. Even without any government grants this will pay for itself because my old car used about 9.5l fuel per 100km and now I'll be charging at home. I'll also be installing a decent sized PV on my roof soon.

Have my 208e 1 year now 22,000 kms not one single issue. Car has only been charged at home with the granny cable ,it’s returning 11.9 kWh per 100km but at 41 cent a kw at home and nearly 60 cent a kw at the public charging I think EVs are not wort it considering the extra cost for the car I’m strongly thinking of going back to petrol and more worrying is when I got the car new i was getting 366km at 100% I’m now getting 336km at 100% that’s a loss of 30 kms in one year?

41 cents is pretty steep… is there any scheme you can apply to in your area to bring that down? We pay €0.13 to charge at home in Malta. Regarding the range 366km to 336km is really not something to worry about as discussed in the video, this is most probably range re adjustment to your driving habits

My Mother has a e 208 and not being tech savvy when she gets warning lights coming up it’s not clear how to respond to them she has mislaid the manual and she. Has had to take it to the garage who just reset and so it’s obviously an error. Is there any way of tapping into the cars computer to find out exactly what’s going on.

You’re going to need to buy an OBD scanner, this is a dongle which connects to the car and then wirelessly to a app on your phone.

I didn’t find anything related to the European funded loan with 0% interested you were talking about. Any official link/homepage is appreciated.

It shouldn’t be. As the source is the European Central Bank. However you need to go through a local bank to apply for it. In the case of Malta only 2 of the local banks are offering it (for whatever reason)

For what I've read, the funds are from the EU, but the initiative is taken by the government of Malta, they choose to use them like that. So you have to be from Malta I think.

mg4 is super cheap ok looks ok range good performance . vehicle to load RWD . it cant get better then this imo

Indeed I spoke about that in my mg4 review extensively. But as a car size (for me) I still prefer the e208 (especially for tiny malta) although I love the tech in the mg4
