just get the Mazda 6...you have the power, but the quality n beautiful leather and soft touch interior, car feel very expensive...then the metal accents...only bad thing is if you like power or want a v6 , it doesn't have...great fuel economy...2017 40k miles, so far no problem...my cuz has a 2015 ...no problem as of yet...Toyota has merged with Mazda for Mazda to build there engines.....I love Honda, I was just afraid of the turbo charger & didn't know much about it, so I went Mazda.... 2018 accord new design was the test car year , 2nd and 3rd year probably better...I want buy when it 1st comes out...its a test to fix the problem the following year

RIGHT NOW I'M REALLY LOOKING AT THE BMWS AND AUDIS I AM ACTUALLY A BIG FAN OF MAZDA BECAUSE THOSE WERE MY FIRST TWO CARS I'VE EVER PURCHASED FOR A MAZDA AND I HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM I MEAN ONLY FOR MY RSA BUT IT'S A ROTARY ENGINE BUT MY MAZDA THREE I NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH IT I think if I were to purchase a BMW it wouldn't cost me this much trouble

@@1.5thondaacord i came from Bmw to Chevy to Honda. BMW's are insane to maintain after warranty. I hit 75,000 and then after that i spent close to 10K between brakes, electrical, and Engine issues, not to mention leaking vaccuum lines, and faulty trunk harness wiring. I love the way it drove, i will never buy a bmw again.

How did you have a blow of valve issue in a car without a BOV? These cars have metered recirculating closed system?

Sorry I'm not too familiar of what the parts names are due to this being my first turbo car so I don't know the pacific part name that was causing my car to shut off while driving on the highway but I'll actually show that part on one of my upcoming videos

@@1.5thondaacord that's fine but you make a rant on several things that are A) basic maintenance, B) caused by lack of basic maintenance, C) incorrect and not even in the car, D) definitely a warranty issue, E) more likely an issue with your dealership rather than the car itself, F) has a TSB out about it and honda has a correction. It seems less like you have a lemon and most point to either a failure in your responsibility or a lack in knowledge in TSBs, recalls, dealership obligation vs your obligation. Just saying your judgement is oriented at the wrong problem. Your calipers went because you overheated them by not replacing in time, your injectors were a failure because the accords have DI and "NEED" a catchcan. By law manufacturers can't install those, windshield would have been under the TSB but you would have to do your due diligence. The oil leak once was a real honda issue but the 2 or 3x are the mistake of the dealership, anything related to the turbo has a 100k mile warranty so that should have been covered, and non warranty or tsb work done on a car is always overpriced @ a dealership and you should have known that. The reason you had over 3k in repairs is your own actions or lack there of. I'm not saying this to argue with you but rather to inform you of where YOU went wrong. Consider the 3k a learning experience on how to maintenance your vehicle, fight for what is owed to you, where to and not to go to get work done on your car and how to hero yourself more informed about your car than the dealership is because not all dealerships are guys walking around in capes

Any car with a turbo is going to last far fewer miles, and I would not trust the dealer, I would find a Honda specialist mech. Normally aspirated engines really do last a very long time from Honda, the 2.4L 4 cyl being the best of the best. 300K miles not uncommon. Plenty of power to get you from point A to B. Pop a used transmission in it maybe.. at 250K miles? And best of all, they all have the same problems and a huge 3rd party parts market, new and used. Sorry man, u bought the wrong car is all.. My 2004 EX with Nav is the BOMB even today. I change the oil every 10K, and I just change the tires, pads and rotors, is all.

Hope the car is good now. I got a 19 1.5t Sport since new. No issues, currently at 26k miles. I did get the software bcm update and the fuel pump motor replaced recently. Did you have this car since new? Did I see the mileage correctly? 117k miles?

My 2018 Honda Accord has a lot of electrical issues. The car decelerates even when I’m pressing the gas. The LKAS, ACC, Brake System all keep failing. the interior dome lights and trunk lights and daytime running don’t come one half the times. My break lights stay slight dim even when I’m not breaking. One of my tail lights has water in it. The paint is very easily scratched and water spotted. The interior road noise is horrible (Honda put almost no effort into making the cabin quite.) I wish I had bought a Toyota Camry instead. Honda customer service is pretty awful on the west coast and most don’t do their best at fixing anything. Never again will I buy a Honda. My next car will be a Lexus or Mercedes at least I’ll still look rich when they break down in my drive way.

Check the ground cable to your battery. Replace the thing for 15 bucks at autozone. Worked for me, and now i have no electrical issues.

Go get your BCM recall done. 0 electrical issues once it's done
