OH MY GOD LABOUM!!!!!!!

OMG i haven't heard Laboum and "Journey to Atlantis" in quite some time. They're one of those groups I never fully got in to but have been on my radar over the years. Their songs were always very feel good vibes for me.

It's always warms my heart when I see anything about LABOUM but I didn't expect you to react to them so thank you and your bestie 😊 For some reason LABOUM's music always seems so comforting to me

Feels good seeing a laboum reaction but it makes me really happy that you included between us, everyone talk about fresh adventure but for me this is THE song

I’m fairly sure they’re a 4 member group now. The leader left a few years ago too.

I remember falling in love with Laboum because it's just so clear how much fun they're having, they have such bright personalities 🥹💞

you heard Journey to Atlantis probably from Soshi TamTam where they did the para-sailing with the girls since that is one of the songs they had to guess

LABOUM nugu icons!! They went viral a couple of times with Journey To Atlantis and Hwi Hwi (which got them their first music show win and against IU which even back in 2017 was a huge feat for a group from a small company). If you ever have time, please react to some of their other songs Turn It On and Fireworks (which are along the line of Between Us in terms of concept) as well as Between Us - Original Ver which is an acoustic version and has a sort of stripped back vibe (it makes their vocals stand out so much more and they sound ethereal!!

"Journey to Atlantis" is their most popular and succesfull song ,and one of the best Kpop songs ever

You know what, I may be wrong, but I think it’s CRAZY that you haven’t reacted to BESTie yet. It just makes sense to react to them lol. They didn’t have too many releases so you should be able to do them all in 1 video. They have an AMAZING main vocalist.

soyeon, the one in blond in the between us video has debuted as a solo singer recently with the song goodbye, she was also on the show girls on fire but she sadly didn’t make it past the first round

Omg! Thank you for reacting to them! They're so freaking underrated I've always loved them so much. My favorites are between us, firework, and turn it on though (so more so their more mature side). Also yeah it's journey to Atlantis. Fresh adventure was the album name. Idk why they did that for the video title lol

LABOUM makes really good music! Some facts about them: -They debuted as 6 but member Yulhee left around 2017 because she was pregnant with an FTIsland's member child (pretty sure they had 3 children like really fast and now are divorced). Then their leader Yujeong left around the end of 2021 when they had their contract renewal thing and I think she kinda said something on the line of feeling uncomfortable because she felt like a burden to the group in terms of visuals and the reason why they never succeeded (i feel so bad for her, she's pretty and was the second best vocalist too!) -Journey to Atlantis had a poor reception but went viral in 2021 shortly after Brave Girls's Rollin and even though the song didn't have such an impact on the group's popularity is pretty well known in Korea and tends to rise back on the charts every Spring. I'd say than before that, their biggest hit was Hwi Hwi, which even got their 1st and only music show win. -Solbin (the member you kept pointing out because of her visuals) had a dating scandal with BTS Jin back in 2017 when their popularity was skyrocketing with Hwi Hwi because apparently she was "too friendly" with him as they were both MCs in the same show. This put LABOUM on a dangerous place and Yulhee becoming pregnant was the killing blow for the group who was about to become the next big thing. Like I really remember when they released Hwi Hwi + Only U around the Summer, a lot of people were anticipating them. -Between Us was composed by Soyeon (the girl with amazing vocals) and imo and for a lot of fans it's their best song, which they kept performing in festivals, etc despite not being as popular as their brightest tracks. -Soyeon was (or still is, i'm not sure) in some competition show's final group and also had a solo debut, so yeah she's still singing

Fun fact the one in journey to Atlantis you said was cute got married recently (like very recently) and is expecting a baby! And the one sitting in the van looking thing at 3:10 ish that had a very short line there is yulhee. She just got divorced and she has 3 young kids. 2 of which are twins. And she was married to a member of the band cnblue

I really like the song, since it was promoted; sadly, they won an award in a music show with it, but they were competing against IU, so you can imagine the amount of hate the netizens began to direct toward the girls, accusing them of manipulation of charts, etc

oh my god i never expected this, they are one of my all time favorite girl groups ;-; forever waiting for their comeback i hope you can react to their other songs, their music always hits journey to atlantis is their most popular song, it gained popularity long after its release when they performed it for the military and it gave them a boost of popularity but their company at the time didn’t know how to capitalize on it sadly
