Just to let you know, 'Shhh' and 'Bad News' both have stories to them. The members solos (Sugarcoat, Countdown, Kitty Cat, and Play Love Games in that order), and Bye My Neverland are prequels to the title track Shhh. The beginning shot of Shhh is even taken from the ending shot of Bye My Neverland. Nobody Knows is a follow-up to Bad News and basically explains why the group is being rebellious in the MV.

I feel like you're gonna fall in love with Nobody Knows and Nothing

The vocals in this group is ridiculous

Their storylines are not stupid complex - they start and end in their eras. So debut era (solo mvs + bye my neverland + shhh) is one storyline, bad news + nobody knows is another. on midas touch they def decided to put more money on the aesthetics of the mv so the story isn't as deep but damn did they deliver .....

In the Shh video, you got the first two girls correct, Belle in pink & Natty with the short fluffy blue skirt. However, the last two you mixed up. The one in the hat was Julie & Haneul was the one in blue.

The story of this group begins with 10 years old “Natty” moved from Thailand to korea to follow her dream after passing both JYP and SM audition. She trained briefly in SM with the same team with joy and Seulgi red velvet. After that she moved to JYP and joined the survival show “sixteen” which created Twice. She made to the final ep but due to her age , jyp decided to bring momo back from elimination and took the main dancer position of twice instead. Natty left JYP after A few years later there’s a clip of a certain trainee of blacklabel (yg sub lebel) called “julie han” circulating for brief moments After that Natty joined another survival “idol school” she made a big impression being the top ranks for first few episodes but sadly she didn’t made it to the final line up for fromis_9. (There’s corruption allegation going on years later states that the votes were rigged and Lee haein plus natty should be in the final line up but I’m not gonna talk about that cause i also loves fromis9 and the girls did nothing wrong ) Few years later Natty debuted as a soloist and had a comeback once then she disappeared within a thin air. During this time , Annabelle shin or Belle , daughter of a famous singer Shim Shin , practicing herself as a singer and producer, she does drop some bangers on her own sound cloud. She joined SM songwriters camp and finally officially debut as a songwriting by writing her first song for other artist which is “find you” by purple kiss. She was credited for many artists within 2 years after becoming a producer such as unforgiven by le sserafim ,miyeon gidle , into you DaDaboo. Suddenly ,rumors of Natty joining new company which is S2 entertainment giving the OGs fan excited once again. Lee Haein as I mentioned who also joined idol school with natty ( now work as kiss of life creative director) recruited Natty to be part of the project KISS OF LIFE. Julie joined. Belle who was working as producer at the company got suggested by the CEO and also joined the project. Now we have 3 talented individuals together but they need another in to fulfill the group. So 3 of them hand picked the last hidden gem from the trainees themselves. The three found one girl stood out among the trainees and decided to pick her ,Haneul as the final member making her the only member who auditioned to be in the group. A 10-year-experience trainee , ex-blacklabel trainee , producer and hidden gem that get picked now known as KISS OF LIFE.

Midas Touch making you think just all 2000s pop was the entire goal. All the girls are 2000s pop & rnb fans and drew inspiration, referenced, and even lyrically added stuff relating to it for this song

Not that you have to react to them like this but just in case you did want to see the full storyline here’s the order: All of the members solo songs go first (doesn’t really matter what order imo but you could go by release date) and then after that there’s a group song called “Goodbye My Neverland”, and lastly there’s “Shhh”. For the Bad News storyline it was “Bad News” first and then “Nobody Knows” would be next!! Hope this helps:)))

the moment you mentioned they're like mamamoo, i was like YEEESS. they're like mothers and daughters to me as well. if you're going to check out their other MVs, i suggest you to check in order bcz the storyline are connected. their b-sides are also superior anyway. i personally loving Nobody Knows and Nothing out of all.

I am so obsessed with KIOF! One of the best vocal (and overall tbh) groups of 5th gen for me. They just kill it, every time, and give us something new and different from the rest of KPOP with flawless vocals and excellent conceptual execution every comeback. Legit never ulted a group so fast before! I also don't even know who my bias is, they're all too good ❤

Kiof girls are extremely talented please check out more from them !! They are currently striving to become fully self produced & have participated in writing, composing & choreography. Some info about them, Belle, 20yo is the main vocal she is korean from Seattle, she used to be a composer/songwriter who’s written for Miyeon, Le sserafim, Kid milli & some others. She also worked with SM providing the vocals on marks song child. Shes known as belliana grande by knetz. Natty,22yo is the main dancer she is Thai she has been in the industry for 10-11 years starting with sm training with red velvet shortly then on sixteen then idol school then she went solo & finally debuted with kiof. Julie 24yo is the main rapper, leader, lead dancer she is korean from Hawaii she was a former TBL & swing trainee. Haneul 19yo is korean she is the all rounder maknae she trained for a year & was chosen as the last member by the other girls. Also their creative director is Lee Haein a former idol who was friends with Natty & trained on idol school with her she has youtube where she talks about some of the behind stuff.

Midas Touch is giving Christina Aguilera singing the Wizards of Waverly Place theme song. I love Kiss Of Life, they are super talented no doubt! Belle basically follows Ariana Grande as her vocal role model. She said she wanted to sing like Ariana so i bet she has been mimicking her for years, plus she truly loves singing lmao there's no interview or show where she doesn't start singing or humming out of nowhere or remembering songs out of random words haha These girls are the first group i stan after Dreamcatcher, that says a lot lmaooo

For their debut mini, the four solo MVs + Bye My Neverland + Shhh combined to tell a story, so the performance clip at the end of Shhh were used while rolling credits like a movie. It was brilliant because the combination of videos helped with learning each of their names/faces, showed a bit of their skill sets/personalities, left a distinct impression and set their foundation well.

Natty was in "Sixteen" - survival show where twice was formed. Momo and natty quite had a beef as they both are amazing dancers

The voice whose flow you liked in the beginning is Julie (the brown haired rapper/leader) while the blonde girl you pointed out for being gorgeous and having "something" in Shhh is indeed Belle (famous main vocal)

Midas's indeed touch everything to gold, but they're also a medusa. That's why all the representation in the music is full of snakes and stones, it's reflected in their lyrics like "toxic" or "dangerous". So all their looks are just stunning (stone-ing) that literally stun all the men who looked at them, but their touch got them going (if you know what I meant) just like the end scene when they touch the boy and turn him back from getting petrified

shhh is about self expression hence why they all have their own solos before they release shhh to showcase their difference in artistry. bad news takes a jab on people talking negatively about someone on the internet without knowing the real context which is followed by nobody knows (b-side) where it gives a perspective of why the girls did what they did in the bad news video because nobody knows the truth except themselves.

Natty (black hair with bangs) is the lead vocalist, rapper and main dancer. Natty was supposed to be on Twice, but she didn't make it 'cause she was too young (she's thai) Julie (black or brown curly hair) as the oldest, she's the leader of the group and also main rapper. she can sing too, and her dancing skills are also really good, she's the second best dancer. she was a trainee on the black label (YG sub company). Julie's swag and charisma are captivating. if I had to choose a center member, I would definitely choose her (and she's american) Belle (blonde hair/red hair on bad news MV) is the main vocalist and also a song writer, she writed some songs by famous artists and groups. she's knowing as "korean Ariana Grande" and her voice is amazing (she's korean) Haneul (blonde hair with cat eyes) is the maknae and lead vocalist of the group. Haneul can also write songs and she's a good dancer as well (she's korean)

love these girls fr, the songs are all bops LMFAOOOOOOOOO the Britney comment YES, my icon as a little girl but yes. this reminded of of Britney sure, but also Christina, a bit of Gwen Stefani ( in terms of visuals also), even the Pussycat dolls (especially with that banner behind them)

they sampled a few 2000/2010s tracks for "shhh" and paid homage with a few borrowed melodies during the song as well. It was a very well-done tribute to that era without being overly pastiche or obvious. now with the release of Midas Touch, we can tell that whatever producer(s) they're using have a very big reverence for that era of music (and not just the trendy Y2K wave from last year). Also, outside of this group's great music and videos and basic personalities, i don't follow this group's variety content too closely- not because I don't love them, i just don't have time for all of the content kpop offers these days. That being said, its quite clear that Belle (the blond you noticed a bunch of times) must count Ariana as her main vocal influence. She uses Ariana licks, runs and inflections ALL the time (but not overdone in an annoying way, just a noticeable way).
