"Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac is, I would argue, one of those cases where a band found a perfect instrumental to accompany lyrics which are so human that it resonates every time.

I normally don't comment in anything, and I doubt you'll ever ready this, but your taste in music ist absolutely fantastic. The pure range of these songs genre- and vibe-wise is astonishing. I've added almost half of them to my playlist, some of them you made me remember, some songs i knew but didn't know their name, and a lot of them were completely new to me. Thank you so much for this incredible list!

September 11, 2001 has had an incredible impact on my life. I remember thinking that day that it was going to be something I would never forget. Hardly a day goes by that I don’t think about it. It was the day Nickelback’s album Silver Side Up was released. I went to Walmart to buy it. The cashier was crying. She must have already listened to it and was affected by some of the more emotional songs. On the way home I popped it into my CD player. I was blown away by it from the very first moment. I tired to stop at a gas station, but for some reason they were all crowded. I guess it was all the people going out to buy the new album. When I got home my parents asked me if I had heard the news. I told them I already knew about the new Nickelback album. I went to my room to listen to it. Every song was amazing and the track layout was perfect. The cover art was awesome. Chad Kroeger and the other guys looked like the epitome of rockstars. It was an incredible work of genius and I could understand why the cashier was so emotional. I had loved Curb and The State, but this was something completely new and different from my favorite band. My parents were watching the news really loud so I had to turn it up to drown that out. I played it on repeat over and over until I fell asleep. It was one of the most memorable days of my life. I can’t even begin to imagine what my life would be like without Silver Side Up.

I couldnt stop myself from saying "wow yesssssss" to myself everytime you mention another song. How do you have such wonderful and diverse taste in music. Even the 80's song, a decade i dont personally care for, you picked some of my favorites from that era. Outside of that.. Bright Eyes, Norah Jones, Wilco, Any Winehouse, Daft Punk. Death Cab For Cutie is my favorite band of all time, last band i saw live. That one made me extra happy. I can go on and on. This list is fantastic!

My chorus teacher actually played the keyboard for The Looking Glass. He told us how happy he was to have his song be considered the best in the universe. Mr.Gonsky was a great teacher. When he was going to move away, a bunch of us got together and set it up so that a spring concert would end with him singing “Brandy you’re a fine girl”. He was pretty rusty, but it was definitely a night to remember.

I totally forgot the song "New York I Love You, But You're Bringing Me Down" existed and it was one of my favorite songs a few years ago. Thank you eternally for reminding me it existed, it got lost in my millions of old playlists. A lot of these songs that I'm not familiar with are so great too, and went straight into my current tracklist.

Yo so I added every song to a playlist, many absolute classics I was familiar with and quite frankly agreed are more than worthy of a top 100 favorite list hahaha but anyways, me and my girlfriend went onna 3 hour drive today, went through nearly the entire playlist and man, thank you. “AlfoMedia Top 100 Favorite Songs” is the official name of the public playlist on Apple if anyone wants it. There are a couple songs missing but I started it full and then just removed a couple if they weren’t my vibe, but overall, QUITE pleased with the new finds on here (Acolyte being prolly my actual favorite holy SHIT whatta song) but keep up the good work man, I really appreciated this 🗣🙏
