I mean Battlebots aren't ridiculously complex. Majority of their weight is in armor, weapons, and batteries. And that's by design. The robots are meant to take and dish out punishment, and be easily repaired in the pits. You can't put anything too fancy in there that wouldn't survive the shock from the bot being thrown about, or the fire from the batteries overheating. Hell, Bite Force infamously won the 2016 reboot with parts practically held together with chewing gum.

Because you may not realize this, but unblurring something like this isn't as easy as you may think, and unless you've got access to technology that is beyond the range of civilians it's basically not possible. Which means that anyone who actually can unblur it wouldn't bother to do so, as it's not worth their effort as they can literally just look up the person's data in one way or another. So your worries are unwarranted. You need to watch less CSI or whatever show you're watching. And if you think that anyone can unblur the ID, just try doing it yourself. Maybe then you'll realize that anyone who would want to leak that information and isn't above civilians won't be able to do so (at least not without spending enough time and resources to not make the process worth it) :P
