ABOUT THIS VIDEO
Hi, friends! In this video I demonstrate 5 "American English" sounds.
1. The "dark L" as in help /ɫ/
2. The "a" as in cat /æ/
3. The "ar" as in star /ɑɹ/
4. The "or" as in more /ɔɹ/
5. The "flap t" as in bottle /ɾ/
Remember, you don't need to practice these sounds in multiple different words in order to master the sound. Just choose ONE word where the sound occurs and master that word. Once you are able to correctly make the sound in that one word, you'll be able to make the sound correctly in hundreds of other words.
Also, for those of you who REALLY want to improve your pronunciation & reduce your accent, sign up for my free pronunciation guide on my website:

NOTE: I'm currently working on a complete pronunciation course that teaches you how to speak exactly like me! However, it won't be ready till later this year. If you want to be the first to join the course and get an incredible discount, pay attention to my emails. My email subscribers are always the first to know when I have something new to offer. :)
That's it!

Stefanie you are really amazing. Earlier I was very weak in pronunciation and it looked impossible for me but you make it possible Thanks!!!!!
I love your videos so much, i love to learn english with your videos because you're always so clear, i love you Stefanie!
Stefanie, one of the most challenging sounds that I found in my learning process is the letter R when it is just before or right after a consonant or in fast speech. For example in the words "address" "early" "approval". I'm a spanish native speaker and the R sound in english most of the time for me becomes a light r in spanish. Please I hope you can read this comment and actually make a video about this topic soon. Thanks so much a keep the great work up! 😁😎
Love it, thanks so much!!❤️ I‘m especially struggling with the „i“ sound like in „live“. Looking forward to the other videos

Dear Stefanie, I love this kind of video about pronunciation! I think it's so important than grammar, because I need to learn how to make it, but if I wouldn't know how to speak it, knowledge in grammar isn't sufficient! Thanks!
Just found your channel and I'm loving it. Wish all native English speakers would speak like you do. Thanks for the tips!

Simplesmente você é a melhor professora. ❤
love your channel. Than you so much, the English Coach.
Thank you for your sharing.
I love your honesty way to teach English! There's no miracle to learn any language! The IPA symbols are one of the best ways to learn English, yet, it's very underrated and rarely taught in regular courses (at least in Brazil) because it's 'kind of laborious'!
thank you so much for your sharing
You are amazing! Thank you
You speak so clear... Clear as crystal... That's I love you being my Teacher... With that said.... 😍 😍 😍
Great video! Love the outtakes! Congrats!

More of this please!
exellent video! I'll keep practicing
Such as Great video! Congratulations.
Thanks a lot for your good advice
It's really help me!!! Thank you so much😍
Your videos are just amazing! And this one in particular was very helpful to me because of the "Dark L". Thank you very much! I would be very grateful if you made a video explaining the different pronunciations of "Fall", "Full", and "Fool". And "Ball", "Bowl" and "Bow". These were very difficult for me to master, and i think many people might feel same. Again, thank you so much for being such a great help for all of us english learners! Keep up the great work!!!
Very useful! Thx!
Thanks for this videos! All of them are really helpfull. Thanks for your great effort as well. Regards!
Hii Stefanie thanks !!! It was good lesson
