$1360 for that seems like a good deal with how ridiculous rents are right now. This would be like a dream apartment for me. I love those beer mirrors. Love the stained glass art and the thing next to it, and how colorful it makes the kitchen. I love how the furniture and everything make the space feel bigger than it is.

Seriously! I live in a 650sf one bedroom in Boston, and it’s $2,900 per month - which is considered a steal in my area! Maybe I need to move to Seattle 😅

@@TheBeatlesToday Jesus Christ that’s crazy!!! I’m in Orlando fl and I pay 1340 for less than 500 sq ft. It’s cozy & I had to search to find something this cheap that wasn’t horrible.

To have a living space where literally "everything" means something defines what a "home" really is! Well done!
LOVE to know that you are also a Paige Wassel stan
I LOVE your apartment. Definitely inspiring me to start slowly collecting meaningful pieces of art and decor for when I settle in a place after school. You’ve really made it your own space💓
My brother just moved to Seattle and I was helping him look for apartments online. I think it’s amazing you got this space for $1360 because housing here seemed to be pretty tight :/
I love your design philosophy! I love when people let their personality show in their spaces! I also love the bird land poster. I visited bird land when I was last in NY and I absolutely LOVED it!
Kath I’m currently in the process of moving alone to my first one bed apartment across the country and I’m so excited about this series you’re doing! Your apartment just seems like such a comforting space for you and I’m getting inspired to find something like that for myself(:
i love this video! it’s so cool seeing how you’ve made this place entirely your own and seeing your reasons for adding all of the decorations was so sweet🫶🏼
You’re spoiling us with this! This was a great tour, so many lovely pieces. I especially like that lamp near the entryway, I’m inspired by it all.
I love your space it is very eclectic and fun! I love how your tv is tucked away, and can move to work well for a movie night. I need a couple of the flower metal pieces for my home.
Omg I love it!😭😍 it’s so cute and cozy! I love the layout and I think the kitchen is so cute
Sweet, i was surprised how much i enjoyed your little tour and listening to why you like and have each item. I’m always impressed at how good you are at expressing yourself btw.
You did such a great job with the place! I'm manifesting an amazing apartment on my own too 🙏🏻
Such a great spot! Defintiely using this an inspo when I move into a tiny LA studio at the end of the month
I love the cactus art!
Love! So cute, thanks for sharing!
The baby hand!!! Your place looks so fun dude! Also YOUTHFUL JOY is right. I find myself gravitating to the kids' section at target it's the best.
$1360 for a one bed omg that's freaking steal. In Boston, I can't find any one bedroom in a safe enough area for less than $1800. 😭

Your home is lovely. Love that it reflects your personality.
this came at the exact right time because i just moved to a new apartment and have been procrastinating so hard on figuring out how I want to decorate and personalize it
Ohh such a cool apartment and I love your thoughts on the importance of a personalized space also wealthfront seems to be exactly what I've been looking for lately to put my money in to!
you have grown so much in the 1 year....I love this space and you seem very confident and happy.
I love hearing the story behind each item or art piece! I tend to be too pragmatic in my "worldbuilding" and end up never hanging up the things I do like/buy. Part of it is because we moved to Seattle last year and still don't know enough people to actually invite people over, plus we're so busy working that it's like we never even get a chance to look around us. :/
I love the gallery art and thrifted furniture. I'm getting inspiration on ways that I can decorate my next place :D

wow! You pay $20 more than me a month your apt looks really nice and cozy! I had to SEARCH to find a place under 1500. I’m in Orlando fl. That’s crazy, didnt think you could get rent that cheap in Seattle! loved this video, your apt just looks so cozy
Paige Wassel is life omg
LOVE your space. i definitely relate to the feeling that my space doesn’t have a particular aesthetic, but it’s filled with things i love. the fact that you can go through and tell a story/speak so lovingly of each object is a good sign :)
i just found your channel from annemarie, and so far i think im in love

The Michael Scott moment with the TV 🤌
You should check out 8th Generation at Pike Place, they have great native art pieces there.
Do you have an unwind routine?
Sounds about right... Cheap rent is all about who You know in this place.
I have a cpap for sleep apnea too! Going on 20 years now.
Do you remember the specific Etsy shop you got the rug from?? It is gorgeous like the rest of your apartment!

How do all of your plants not die? Maybe I just have a brown thumb. Also it’s so nice to see a fellow sleep apnea person. I’ve been diagnosed since elementary school so finding people my age-ish with a CPAP or BiPAP is great to see.
My brother walking into my room for the first time while visiting and said "wow, you're not even trying"
You can not be lonely in Seattle if your sister visits! love the video. i would have thought you would have put your own photography on the wall. not judging, not criticizing. I have my husband's photography on our walls.

Fellow Paige groupie!!!
Is the baby hands a trump reference? Eta: toothbrush right above the toilet?! Nah you gotta move that. Even if you shut the bowl to flush guarantee all your guests don't. You don't want that bacteria on your toothbrush
Hi, I remember watching your videos just before I went to college for advice. I am currently in medical school now. I have learned about Grave's Disease and I understand what you're going through. I know other patients who have also gone through the same thing. I know the real world is tough. Don't worry. You look great without makeup and you were such a bubbly, happy person back then. Would you ever bring that back? People really like that!

Ahahaha I have a $1300 1 BDR apartment in Austin, TX. I just turned 25. Ironically around the same time that you decided to say fuck it and quit your job to be less of an “overachieving hard ass”, I decided to not complete my LAST 15 hours of my stupid ass business degree and become a quote on quote chosen college drop out. Now I’m stuck with $20,000 in loans, driving doordash, found the courage to cut out my narc family, selling all of my shit, and moving to teach English abroad in Spain. I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back. Currently on a journey to become a full time freelancer. I will never work a job again. Not a journey for everybody but it’s cool to know that you’re going through the same identity crisis I am :) we’re in this together girl. 🤎 your mental health and well being is what matters most. I now firmly believe in doing less motto the Europeans live. American dream my ass.
