Hello, i have a MX anywhere 2s, and i notice is a little small, recently i have See in Internet Pages Like eBay and AliExpress, is selled a mx master 2s hard case replacement, the body of the mouse, and i thinking to buy it and make a hybrid, at the inside be the mx anywhere but externaly will be a mx master 2s,it can be posibble?

Here's an explanation for why this works. These switches fail because the amount of current being sent through the switches by the mouse's electronics doesn't meet the minimum "wetting" current for the switches. Essentially the current is too weak to push through the layer of corrosion that develops on the switch contacts. Cleaning that corrosion layer off helps the current travel through easier. So this WD40 treatment likely cleans this layer of corrosion off, or acts to help increase conductivity in the contacts. The WD40 getting in other parts of the switch may cause other issues though, so proceed with caution.

WD-40 seems like a bad idea since penetrating oil can dissolve some plastics and much of that switch is plastic. What I usually do is soak the end of a qtip in 99% isopropyl alcohol and then smash the tip of the qtip on the button several times. You want the alcohol to work into the switch as you're activating the switch. This will help clean any dust that's gotten in there and made the button sticky. If the rubbing alcohol alone doesn't work, some mineral oil might be a better idea than WD-40. Mineral oil is non-conductive and shouldn't damage plastic components. I've seen people submerse their computer towers in mineral oil to make a sort of brute force liquid cooled computer. I frequently use mineral oil to re-lubricate the bearings on PC fans.

Soon they will start glueing this rather than screws... Hat ehow companies have become. All logitech mouse just last a few month for me, all develop double clicking, click missing issues sooner or later :(

So, how do i unscrew the screws
