I'm in the process of watching the show myself (I came here specifically to see how the MV turned out) and I can't believe how much fun it's been so far, both from a musical and comedic (variety) standpoint, yet the show somehow stayed low-key. Definitely check it out if the description piques your interest!

For those who doesn't know, this is SNOWBALL PROJECT. It is a competition between MYSTIC Ent and SMEnt artist..... 1. They needed to remake a certain song from their rival company. -SM (henry) got "Rebirth" by yoon jong shin while... -MYSTIC (jong shin) got "Dumb Dumb" by redvelvet 2. Next step is to choose an artist from their company that will perform the remake of the songs they were assigned: -SM (henry) chose redvelvet while... -Mystic (jong shin) chose Jane Jang, GIANTPINK , PERC%NT and K jun(?) *Originally Henry's 1st choice was EXO... but of course EXO were busy... so then his 2nd choice was NCT but then again he got declined by NCT's manager due to their busy sched also.... SO NOW he tried approaching female artists... his 1st choice was redvelvet and luckily they accepted his request in a BOOMB way LOL (so that's how RV has been casted) XD *while on the other side... jong shin casted his artists (Jane Jang, GIANTPINK , PERC%NT and K jun) through conduction of interview... LOL their approach is different: Henry is the one approaching the artists... while on mystic, the artists comes to jong shin XD) SO overall... (this is my personal opinion ok?) SONG: It's a TIE (i'm more of SM though, but still i appreciate mystic remake of dumb2x) MV: MYSTIC wins VOCALS: SM RAP: MYSTIC CONCEPT: Ill go with mystic (i like that concept of mannequin girl) they really portrayed the song well... clap clap (as for RV, they didn't even portrayed their characters well except for joy lol) OVERALL: uh.....sorrry rv babies.... I'm an RV trash and both groups did well but i choose mystic for this one, they deserved to be recognized too :) good job!

Well, if EXO wasn't so busy, it could have possibly been a perfect fit for them. But that didn't happen. Nevertheless, RV did a good job and showcased their very own colors. What surprised me the most was Perc%nt's talent in rearranging Dumb Dumb into something that's different not only for Mystic but also for the song itself. I really recommend those who like this song to watch Snowball Project on VLive app/website to really see behind the scenes on how it came up to this. 💕

The 2 teams have different takes on their songs. I really like dumbdumb but i love how this is so different. Not as addicting as RVs but really really good!!! I like the trumpet at the back. Was it trumpet? Not sure. But in RVs Rebirth its more of their velvet side and also have great harmonization. Especially the "lalala" part. I really cant pick!! Both of them are good!!!

Marie Anthoinette Diesta This remake definitely had more soul to it than the original. Overall the rebirth remake was very out of tune. Red Velvet were basically back up singers to the Xylophone sound

Light Hayles Saying this remake had more soul than the original is a stretch... Its more along the lines that Mystic transformed the song into something that can showcase their style and identity. Meanwhile Henry totally missed in actually including Red Velvet's identity and characteristics in Rebirth's remake. Both songs sound good though.

Hash Hood You're right "soulful" isn't the right term. What I mean to say is the song sounded more warm because of the instruments involved that require someone to play it physically (aka piano, base). It's what gives it life. Whereas in the original nothing but edm was to be found

Hash Hood And Mystic didn't transform it to showcase their 'style'. One can figure that out just by simply watching the Vapp. Both Mystic and Henry said that it didn't sound like Mystic and that's exactly what they were going for. It's literally the first thing they mention at the conference table, is they want to stray away from their typical acoustic vibe.

YES. Both remakes were good soundwise when you compare them in my opinion and both were out of this world. Although, I still have to listen to the original ver. of rebirth before judging who remade the song they were given better.

I love red velvet, but I really love this remake more lmao. This is something I would actually listen to everyday if it came down to that. The vibes are so chill! 👌🏼

I love Red Velvet so much, but let's be real, during the Snow Ball project, Mystic won. They elevated Dumb Dumb on a whole different level. Perc%nt's arrangement of the song is so much better. Although a part of me wished and thought that Wendy should have been there with them to perform with this arrangement, because the soul she could have added, man. I love both versions but, this version of Dumb Dumb is a masterpiece. Perc%nt's vocals fit the arrangement perfectly, Jane's vocals added the magic, and GIANT PINK's raps slayed and completed the masterpiece.

Mystic Entertainment is the name of their label. Mystic and SM Entertainment are collabing through a music show and were tasked to cover each other's songs. This is why Mystic is covering "Dumb Dumb"~

I love how they even changed the story of the song without changing the lyrics ! It seems like the boy and the girl are actually having a conversation !! This remake is FIRE ! The trumpet sounds like "change up" from Seventeen. I love this kind of soundtracks. 2:40 omg we can hear the original song in the background

It's not the lyrics, but rather the style, tunes and tempos. I personally couldn't tell it was a remake until the chorus part, I just thought it was an original song and just so happened to have the same title.

Actually even sm made mystic song sounds really different from the original i thought it was rv song until i watched sbp and knew it was a remake .. Both team did good job ❤

Mystic did a awesome job at remaking this song. I like the vibe the music video gives you and the song goes with so well. Mystic didn't disappoint me but I'm not saying tht RV didn't do a better job they did a beautiful job but the director for the video should have done something else.

I really like this remake! The music is so addictive and quite different from the original and their voices go so well together. Also the MV is really pretty, very nicely arranged. Also I really like when they say "I'm just a dumb girl. I'm just a dumb boy." I also love RV's remake, it's really good and catchy, but in my opinion MYSTIC beat SM in this one 😂

Actually, I love both Dumb Dumb and Rebirth. At first I don't know Rebirth because I'm 2k born but RV's version is really catchy. But if we compare Music video, this one is better and creative. Especially in Jane part they make different robot version of Dumb Dumb.

I'm here for 2 reasons, I love the original song, and I love Giant Pink.

If I really have to choose between this and Rebirth, I would be very confused. The thing is... I like this version of Dumb Dumb because of how different it is compared to the original. This version is so cool. But I like Dumb Dumb the original a lot too. While for Rebirth, I've tried to listen to the original and it bored me so much (I'm sorry Yoon Jong Shin and all Korean people who love the song!!!) but I looove the RV's version. So, RV can make me love song that I originally don't like. And as for the MV... I like both actually. This one is cool and the black and red scene reminds me so much of The 7th Sense - NCT U, which is cool. The RV's MV... although some people say that it is ugly, for me it's innovative and fun to watch. So yeah... I cannot choose. I'm just hoping for another project like this because this is fun!!

This remake is DOPE! The Snowball project is a real blessing for us kpop fans.
