@@madhumitaray4191 no it’s not, the female swan is called a pen and the male a cob. That’s according the the ornithology books of world birds which is recognised by all countries. A goose is another species.

8 - that's very good indeed. Most I've seen in the UK is 9. Cygnets starting to appear here now - late this year. Love to see them - nothing more adorable than cygnets.

They keep crossing the roads in this area. But is a residentia areal with lots of water and the people living there are very fond of their swans.
