cygnets leaving nest first time

The mute swan 5th cygnet had hatched just the day before, so it is very likely that this is the first time the they had been out of the nest.

That was adorable. First they were like ooohhellnooo when they touched the water. Then they were trying to climb on their parents' backs! These little ones are too funny 🦢❤️

I think once they were in the water, they were trying to jump on their parents' backs, but the parents kept turning and turning so they couldn't.

Leaving nest big step, water must be comparitivly cool. Trying to access mum/dad back after arriving on it guess thinking 'hitch lift, go with them whersoever' mum/dad would not let them hitch lift. Mum / dad have understanding of such do best for cygnets. Peace and harmony 📯.
