I have an MSD 6al ignition box on it already, so it plugged right into it. I got everything for cheap prices but brand new there 75 i belive for the MSD on. I have it hooked up to my clutch pedal so once i let off the clutch it deactivates and lauches at WOT. Yes you can get the chip modules for any rpm you desire.

Hey how hard was it to instal that rev limiter and how much did it cost? Can you set it to any rpm?

If u still remember, how did you hook the 2 step up to the clutch? Which wire did u splice into and what kind of relay? I have the 6al2 built in 2 step, but one wire hook up. Cant find a Digram on this, watched your build videos, and came across this video, old but thought i would ask, thanks for any help

I searched yellowbullet and corral.net to find a wire diagram. Cant remember which wire i used for sure, the relay is just a random 5 pin relay from auto parts store. If i get a chance, next time im by the car ill chech out which wire i spliced.

I bought my dad a msd 6 al 2 for his roadrunner back in Dec for x mas because he always mentioned it. I don't understand the concept of the 2 step though..what's the difference ?

james myers 2 step is a set rev limiter to what ever rpm you want to launch the car off of. Like for instance i launch mine at 5000 rpm and dump the clutch and i have it wired to my clutch pedal so once i let it fly then the msd will go to its set max engine rev lim that i set which for me is 6200.

So what if he doesnt race ..but just wanted it because it had more spark than the 6aL. Im pretty sure he doesnt have to use that feature .

What exhaust you running ?

this was 2.5" xpipe.

I just realized it has a Ohio plate. I live in Ohio too. I'm not sure if I've ever seen this car or not
