Ford definitely got something started with the terminator cobra way back in 03 by offering a factory supercharged mustang. I think they were a little bit of inspiration for the zr1 corvettes, zl1 camaros, any v series cadillac or dodge hellcats.

Probably yes sure ford did it first but to say without the terminator there wouldn’t be FI muscle cars without it is a stretch eventually one of the car companies would have came out with one

Yes, there would. Both brand a were boosting cars long before these 2 cars came out. With that being said the ZR1 name plate is much older on C4 corvette’s I believe.
