I ended up getting an 02 SS which I've always liked just as much as the Cobra. However I am still determined to get a Cobra and looks like it will happen towards the end of this year. Thanks for asking.

O3 Cobras... Ford is the Best in Texas...By Far... Every where you turn theres Mustangs..F-150's.. And Ford Focus's RS's... Texas is Ford Country... Ive seen F-150's helping broke down Dodges off the Road... Ford owners aren't hater like alot of Dodge and Chevy owners... Where just Happy Proud Ford Connoisseurs..thats it...

Yeah back when I owned a C5Z these old cobras never won. I always loved them though but the weight difference was their Achilles heel. But they really were great motors!

I too have a C5Z but there is one place the Cobra will always win: sound. LS sounds like butt. Always has, regardless of exhaust.

C5Z driver is the only one not driving like the rest... Props to not being a tool

I never liked the idea of highway racing...it's just too risky for everyone on the road.

keep us posted jcdebbs. I have an 03 Cobra but have it down until I can get the coin to put the Eaton M112 back on. It's been ported and polished by Jokerz Performance. My Lysholm/Vortec blower blew up in less than 2 years of service. Was making 609rwhp/585rwtq. Hoping to get 520 s outta the modified Eaton.

I don't care if the Mustang has 1,000 bhp and the Corvette 500 i am taking the Corvette they are just on another level all together

What's the specs on those wheels on the gray mustang cobra?

I have a silver terminator with chrome svt wheels and I also have a 94 Cobra that has those Godspeed wheels. After seeing this video, I may have to switch them around. 👍

@ Tex F this shot was taken from a c6 Z06, the other vette is a c5 Z06 with some mods, also i own the c6 but i let my friend to drive it, so he didn't want really punch it (it wasn't his car), and as u can see there was lots of traffic, however that's not a excused, but u can check my other vids with a different driver and different results ;-)

well yeah basically anyone would presume there is going to be some kind of racing involved . at most there was very short 3 second quick pulls ... run at least 2 gears worth of speed then you can kinda call it a "vs" or possibly race video . nice cars tho nonetheless

though the z06 won do keep in mind the z06 c5 was meant for handling over straight line performance. its nice that it can take mustangs fastest mustang at that time but they really dont compete with one another.

Its a beautiful car, They've yet to invent a mustang that looks like anything, with the acception of the old schools. 67's, fastbacks. machs ect. Im trying to get an 03 z06 by the end of this year. Good luck man!!!! me personally I'm trying to save up for a gen 3 viper.... but being in college is having me put it off a couple years but eventually ill have one :) I may be a mopar man but I have a serious respect for the corvette and what it is for the price.... the z06 corvettes sound so mean its amazing.... but enough with my rambling my point was that you can achieve your corvette if you keep ur mind on it!!

Cobras (and even more so the Mach 1s) look awesome IMO. C6 and C7 Corvettes look great, the older ones not so much.

The terminator with that independent rear suspension very different from a gt even exhaust is different

very different kind of beast, I owned a termi for about 5 years, 805 rwhp compare to the vette, about 430 rwhp and trust me, no regreats what so ever, in fact, out of 5 friends that own a termi after driving the Z, all 5 of them switched to C6 Z06, like I said, nothing wrong with the cobra but the vette its a whole different ball game

Terminator is the codename/nickname for the 03/04 cobra motor. Hence the terminator sticker. Many people refer to the car itself as the terminator. Just like the current 5.0 motor is called the coyote motor

I'm doing An mmr stroker with only 12lbs of boost with 100 plus octane I should be close to 700 rwhp. make the LS3 or LS7 OHV as small as 4.6 OHV, and its shit. the whole point of blowers is POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT. The whole point of of OHV engines is efficiency and power with displacement. apples and oranges but each special in their own way. lay off the hater-ade

I love the Vette .the Mustangs is cool to but when they are side by side and they both hit it hard the Mustang motor gives off that odd toy motor like its winding up like an electric motor and to me that sucks but from the back the Mustangs pipes sound real cool why is that. that electric engine sound is just to annoying for me .I want to hear the roar engine period not the sound a wind up toy beside me .I wonder why Ford they made it sound so uncool and odd it just don't have throaty cool engine sound as the Corvette has all of the time .the old big engine Fords did have the cool sound but not any more to bad for them .

Heavy, four seater, muscle car vs light, two seater, sports car. Of course the Vette is gonna win. But, the "slow ass Cobra" held its own. Not to mention the Vette's a dime a dozen. Whereas there were less than 4,000 Terminators (03-04 Cobra) made in the two year production span. And you can STILL pick them up for less than a Vette. Both are good cars. But, I'd take the cheaper, more collectible, Terminator, add mods (to equal the Vette's price), and SMOKE the Vette... Again, for the same price as the Vette.

Hyatt Crystal mustangs are more common than vettes but once you get into specific models then it changes. You'll see v6s and gt's all day but Termis are really rare regular c6's all day but z06's and zr1's not so much. Wish I could have a cobra and a Z life would be perfect
