  Nice run! Wouldve liked to see those times. Im really debating on saving for a C6Zr1 over the Z06 just because i cant cope with the valave drop lol. And if im willing to drop 40-60k on a Z...might as well as 20k and get a R1 attached after the Z❤

  to my knowledge LS9’s do not have the infamous valve drop like like the LS7. if i’m correct, LS9’s are just beefed up better version of LS3’s with a supercharger.

  @@TezzzyOGKcorrect. The LS7 had valvetrain issues from what GM called a large bad batch of machine work. The LS7 valves are “Ultra-light weight titanium intake valve and a hollow sodium filled exhaust valve”. Unlike your standard LS valve in the others. LSA/3/9 doesn’t have that issue because the valves (if I recall) are also shorter. The material of the guides in the LS7 heads were also in question for extensive wear…and lastly some think the larger LS7 cam with the higher revs and stock LS rockers was the culprit. If the “head fix” was done on an LS7 then you’re good to roll…and nothing to worry about on an LS9 :)
