Ali looks so awesome in this promo, and his match against a NJPW legend will be a great push in his career. This political character really suits him so well here. It's a shame that WWE really wasted this man's talent.

This is exactly what I had hoped Ali would do. NJPW is the perfect place for him. There are some great matches there for him. Plus, with NJPW's multiple partnerships, we could potentially see him show up in TNA or AEW, similar to what Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) did.

NJPW getting ALL the WWE releases and I'm all here for it.

I was genuinely excited when he debuted this politician gimmick in preparation for his North American championship program in WWE, and while it's a major loss that he got released, it's awesome to see that he's running with that same idea and bringing that same fire and same charisma to NJPW. This is gonna be amazing.
