Last Monday on RAW, during that “Trial” segment (which was incredible, imho), Sami looked genuinely emotional when Jey Uso basically saved him. Sami is very, very good at his craft, but I can’t help but think he was able to take some of that emotion from Jay Briscoe’s passing, and use it to better that performance, maybe even subconsciously. Sami is a great guy, and so was Jay Briscoe. My heart goes out to Mark, and the entire family. Selfishly, it is a shame for us as fans that we won’t get to see them in the ring together again. All of those guys- Same, Kevin Owens/Steen, FTR, and too many others to list, were just fire in the the ring with Dem Boys.

Honestly only the IWC is tribalistic because the majority of todays wrestlers all came up together in the indie scene. Sami and KO came up with the Briscoes, the Young Bucks, Jay Lethal, etc because they were all in ROH together before they came to WWE/NXT.

@@juanitob Hell even where they're in opposite companys many of them have all but stated (or just flat out stated point blank) they they keep in regular contact with each other and are often on good terms with each other. The majority of them even probs want those dream matches the fans keep talking about just as much as we do. just seems to be the bureaucratic side of the buisness preventing it.

Sammy has a lot of mick foley in him, in a good way obviously

I admire the honesty and vulnerability he shares in this video. Everyone processes grief differently. RIP Jamin Pugh ❤
Prayers to the Pugh family!! RIP JAMIN!!!! A real man & true legend!!!
It's great to see Sami and Kevin getting such massive pushes. They have been overlooked and tossed aside for years and were always two of the hardest/sharpest workers.
Sami as WWE Champion would be the greatest thing for wrestling since Mankind became WWE Champion.

As a Sami Zayn fan, I feel so sorry for him not having the opportunity to face Jay Briscoe now that he died in a car accident. I gotta give Sami tons of credit for overcoming fear and I don’t see him shed tears very often considering how tough he is like I’m a tough 27 year old man who hardly sheds tears every now and then when I notice something bizarre and sad.

What broke me was when Tony Khan put on a entire RoH show dedicated to Jay, plus made the main event of Dynamite (AEW's main show) Mark vs Jay Lethal, then having everyone come out at the end of the show. I had no idea Jay was this loved backstage. I only discovered Dem Boys a few years ago, and have been in awe ever since. This shows Tony Khan's heart. That TK thinks past just the wrestler; he thinks about the human.

I really relate to him here. I'm a vet and have had more loss thank I really care to think about. Most every time I hear news of someone else passing, I don't really recognize it for a while. Recently I was sad and mourned a day or two later after I really had time to think about it. Then a few weeks later football was starting and I realized we would never play fantasy football again. I broke down and laid in bed for 3 days. I'm not sure it's healthy or not, but that's what I do

What a chill dude.
The more sensitive side of Sami Uso
I've always felt the same way about the whole "sorry" thing when it's in reference to someone that was a friend or aquaintance. I feel I'm not deserving of it and it should just be directed at family and really close friends or significant others. It sounds odd which is. Why Sami had a hard time explaining it as I do.
He is such a beautiful and wonderful human being. We need more Sami Zayn's in the world.
The honesty I appreciate so very much. I can relate to Sami and how one can compartmentalize a loss and the feelings that come with it.
Total respect to Sammy for being really honest explaining his personal grieving process. Deaths can be so weird. Especially when your life is at full speed at the time. He understands it may hit him when he slows down (and it will). But his own personal life is in full flow at the moment. He's gotta keep his chin up right now more than ever. A horrible loss to the IWC. Seemed a total father.
Can we do more interviews of Sami? He talk really smooth in interviews.
I really enjoy Sami’s emotional honesty.
Love this guy
"I've been meaning to text him" after the guy passes...that feels horrible.

Sami needs a hug for this one.
This dude has that likable mick foley-like charm. Wonder if tonight at the Rumble he’ll get the 2014-15 Bryan treatment and Cody gets the Batista/Roman treatment
Sami Z is really a great guy... This is authentic him.
So happy for Sami having this spotlight shine on him right now and he is Killing It to say the leas!!! It's a wrestling crime that The Briscoe Brothers never got to have a run in WWE or AEW. They had it all in the ring and I hope Marc can continue to flourish in AEW.
Sami is doing a great job
Very humble of Sami at the end, he is such an amazing person
