The Hangrey Panda selection was so, so outstanding. The sesame noodles, the pork belly, the chicken sandwich & the popcorn chicken were so special! Good luck in Texas, Mikey! Don't waste the food in your freezer! Take care shoveling snow!

That was a golden moment when Lucy came out of the kitchen and saw Mike. She was really taken aback. Here I was thinking, man I hate to see him coming back to the states, bad on me. This guy brings joy and finds great food and people wherever he goes.

I wouldn't recommend it as this would put Mike at the risk of potential lawsuits (e.g. food safety issues), where the plaintiff claims to suffer a loss (e.g. getting ill) due to consumption of Mike's food.

They use potato starch on the fried chicken I can tell by the texture, that's how I make all my friend chicken and it is sssooo delicious

I love how his subscribers recognized him and just so star struck. His enthusiasm for food gets me every time! Along with the corny jokes. I know he doesn’t eat like that everyday, but I get a stomach ache watching him just for one filming.

Can't help but be enamored of Mike's boundless enthusiasm for good food. Makes me want to do a food tour of my native London once everything opens up again. First stop will be that malaxiangguo joint he visited a few years back! 😀

Absolutely love the recognition some smaller food places are getting from Mike, and a real bonus when they know him too!

Just seeing him eat all those delicious food is making me hungry, especially the hot pot! I haven’t had hot pot in years and I’m missing it more seeing Mike eat it.

This is so wholesome! My man is enjoying himself eating quality food while promoting local restaurants with a smile on his face and kind words to offer. This is why I'm here, thank you!

I am assuming he will be renting, just like he did in Seattle. While inconvenient, he can always visit his new business venture from interstate. Hope he likes it though, and stays put until his restaurant is on the steady.

Texans can be quite closed & distant and doesn't have the mid western charm (I moved here from Michigan).

I honestly can’t wait to visit his new restaurant! The Asian food in Oklahoma is...... lack luster. He’s the sweetest! I love seeing his Trader Joe’s videos! Thanks Mike for opening my fiancé an I’s eyes on how good Asian food is!!!!

So in cambodia we have a similar pork belly dish that most dont know about. It's called kaw in general, but the version I'm thinking of is kaw sach jreuk (pork belly) often with bamboo and whole chicken or duck eggs that are browned in the stew, over rice. Caramelized palm sugar and kampong black pepper are the forward flavors. Cooked until tender. I wonder now if it was brought there by Chinese immigrants. We omit the 5 spice nowadays. Lots of garlic and shallots too.

The Greater Seattle area where you rented that apartment seems so nice. The vibe is somehow so comforting, almost European (where I'm sending my greetings from). I greatly enjoyed every video from that area and wish all those businesses all the best in these troubled times. Those lock-down videos were of real help to me during the lock-downs here.

Be careful depending on where you move in Texas you think your anxiety about Covid was bad before nobody pays attention to do anything right down here especially in the Houston area (they have tons of new cases) so you might have some serious anxiety about it down here. Just stay safe.
