Hey mate you probly already did know this but you see the slit in the genuine metalworks squares... That is machined to fit your measuring tape tab into... :) Its a bit easier to measure for square instead of going corner to corner on the frame itself. Great channel Iv spent hours watching. God bless from australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
All your content is good content! I need all the vids you have. 👍🏿💰👨🏾🏭
I like the fireball tool squares better. They have tabs for the third axis alignment and are machined cast iron.
Drill 16mm (5/8") holes on 2" centers on your welding table, then either fabricate yourself or purchase post clamps and stops. The time savings will pay for itself in no time. Plus you'll have perfect repeatable results for multiple item projects. Meanwhile - loving the Unadilla posters! Best track in the country, well, kinda. Now that they groom it not quite as well as back in the day when they raced on virgin grass there. Liking your channel, subscribed today.
Good content looking forward to the next video 👍
I’ve watched almost all of your videos. Good advice on the “Get into welding for under $1,000 video” I like how you are real world down to earth. I weld as a hobby at home and sometimes at work. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing the Dodge decked out as a welding rig.

@@mcfwelding i will my man. I also work a reg, but thought I might do some on the side to. Thanks
That's some good stuff I'm going to try contact him right now need them like 10yrs ago Name him Martian welder
Years ago I took some 2x2 angle and made my own square. I clamp it down to the table then slide the 2 pieces in clamp down and tack-then repeat with other 2. Then clamp to table-check for square and tack. Way faster and cheaper.

Cheaper for sure but faster? Faster than waiting for delivery? Cheaper has its place for apprentices. If you have reached journeyman or SME level your tools should perform, look and feel as professional as you.
