Doing some welding and working and having some fun. Follow along with me as i take on side welding jobs, help out my friends with weld repairs and just some basic welding projects. I work out of a two car detached garage and on a stone driveway, so just goes to show you don't need a nice new shop and all the fancy things.

Tube steel doesn't have mill scale, just oil that can be wiped off. Only hot rolled plate and beams have mill scale.
I have the same tractor and need to perform the same job! Where did you buy your new cutting edge? Didn’t come to length or did you buy longer and custom cut?
Hey bud! In the future if power washing something with hoses that you don’t want water getting into, throw a bolt in it that fits tight/slightly stretches it! Works a lot better than tape
🔥🔥 im in welding school just found your page love watching stuff like this keeps me motivated. I’m from jersey maybe we’ll run into each other in the field.
Good job 👍🏼, keep at it! All the best
That box is def blue brooo
Y luego con el peso de los cables se vencen

Filling in the porosity holes with paint
Got a name for your painting: Mic Fab. 😅😂🤣
Great work brother! I haven’t welded since school I went to a voc. School. Been watching your videos makes me miss it!
Why not just wipe it done with acetone?
Nice work on the shank repair!
Throw a stainless roll pin in there before it goes to shit
I hear they do a lot better if you keep them covered
What do you recommend for someone that lives in an area (state) FULL of welders…seems like the market around me is flooded.
What are your thoughts on them now, almost a year later?
Needs mud flaps please.
Great video!
I’m not new to welding been doing it off and on for about 10 years. But lately been feeling the bug to get back into it. Mainly from watching you, melting metal Anthony, and derbador the weldor, but y’all got me wanting to get back into it and start something for myself! Going to start with some small stuff again and see where it goes from there. Going to hopefully start making videos again too but who knows, I got a new rig I’m building, some new tools, but all in all it will be a fun experience! I realize I’m not the best at teaching from attempting to do videos on it in the past so I’m going to stick more to projects and field repairs
Funny the shit guys destroy

How is the arc performance compared to a newer more expensive machine you have used??
Ranger is a great name
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
Lincoln has been on top for a very long time. I've been running into quality control issues with it the last year or so. Like metal showing through the side of the rod through the flux. Arc shoots out the side of the rod. So I started looking into other brands. Reason I'm watching this. Hobart seems to make a better running rod now and so does Washington Alloy. I'm talking about 6010 on pipe here. I'm still weighing in on making the jump away from Lincoln. But check out other options. Keep in mind that open root is a different ball game than fill/cap passes and if your metal is clean or not. Different rods for different purposes. Thanks for vids Man!!!
ESAB Atom Arc every time!!!! They really nailed it!!! Also.... There are 7018's that aren't Low Hydrogen rods. May be why some of those weren't in sealed packaging. Good vid Man!!!
Anyone who has stickers on their hood is a poser. Union welder for 20 yrs
That might be the most stupid fuckin thing I've ever heard. But hey what do I know I'm just a poser

Lmao "uNiOn WeLdEr FoR 20 YeArS" nobody gives a shit bro.
Miller is for drinking, Lincoln is for welding 🍻🍻🍻
Better than factory
Takes me back - as an apprentice back in the 60's , we had one day and one night each week at college . We made hold downs/clamps/third hands so that by the end of the apprenticeship , you had a fair set of tools ,013 one old timer told me to make em dog rough - that way no one would steal em cos they wouldn't want to admit to making em LOL - trouble with that was you couldn't take em out of college if they were rough . There was no fancy stuff back then , and everything was done with 6013 .
Do you charge for waiting for the guy to show up?
I’d pay shipping to Canada or I’d have you send it to my sister in Arizona and have someone bring it up to me 🤙😂
I like the fireball tool squares better. They have tabs for the third axis alignment and are machined cast iron.
Great video!! Enjoy your content
That's awesome good neighbors are better than silver and gold
That is awesome!
Nice!
He knew you would put it to good use. It will make him proud to see it dirty for once and it only took 20 yrs
FREE!
Awesome neighbor bro!! If he's not a welder, you could cut something cool for him, he'd probably treasure it. I'm sure you probably thought of that already.
Good suggestion 💯👍
What size c channel did you use for the rails on the machine
4 inch
5P Plus is totally different.
Its all in the welders hand addapt and overcome ...made me laugh did weaving on them welds..should try straight beeds and that should let your fluks just curl off easy Dfluksing

@@mcfwelding lol ok
@@mcfwelding sorry about that man hahahah😆
Awesome job, keep making educational and interesting videos! It’s making me want to start new projects !
Make sure you got a good gasket between the carburetor and intake on the engine. If not, it’ll make it hard to start. It’ll suck air instead of fuel.
made a new gasket for that
I was putting my money on that it was going to be the ratchet strap instead of the shirt 😂 we all have those moments as long as it didn’t break nothing I call it a win!
🤣
600th like, great content! Love the channel!
Yo Matt, if not mistaking Miller, bought out holbart, so at my welding supply, the count guys said that I could use the same consumable ... I bought a Miller 215 for my side hustle! Not a welder by trade, but just keep burning wire...
