Masha Allah!! The little girl at 2:30 is sooo cute!! As a father, my heart turns to mush, I would give her the baba immediately at the slightest sign of need, I do NOT say no to my children...it's not worth the discomfort they feel that shreds my insides- so good to have a strong Muslimah wife to teach these lessons: Allah(swt) bless you and keep you sister !

Remember to teach them prayer at 7 years old and hit them at 10 years old with a miswak if they don't pray, miswak is the short branch thats used as a toothbrush, it barely hurts for adults but it hurts more for kids so don't cause much pain, and don't hit the face, i think tell them to open their hands, 1 or 2 hits each hand, Good luck!

12:17 translation: This is the story of Prophet Yunus (AS) where as he would take about how Allah created mankind and everything around us although disbelievers did not believe that so Yunus (AS) has left the village without the permission of god. Once he was on a ship and a storm hit it. So the people on the ship had to throw someone out of the ship, into the sea. So they drew and the first time the prophet’s name was on the sheet of paper. They had done it 2 more times and Yunus (AS)’s name would be on the sheet. So they threw him of the ship. Then a whale had swallowed the prophet and it was hot in his stomach (the whale). Yunus (AS) then recited the day: La illaha illallah anta subhanaka ini kuntu minazaulimin. He kept repeating that due until other sea creatures heard it. They started to recite it with him! Even the whale recited after him! Then Allah had forgiven the prophet and commanded the whale to drop him off on an island. It was a sunny and hot day but Allah grew a tree so the Prophet wouldn’t feel to hot. God would provide the prophet some dates and water. After a few days, Allah had sent the prophet back to the village and everyone would believe in Allah and worship him! From what I have studied, the prophet has died when he was 97-99 years old.

I remember that first emotion when you learn your prayer all the way through...A lovely Somali woman at my work brought me a dress and taught me how to pray correctly. I remember that night I said Magrehb out loud and when complete we were BOTH in tears.

Our prayer is different and it consists of stating Islamic things like the shahada; "I swear that there is no God except Allah and that Mohammed is his prophet" So praying Muslim prayers 5 times a day definitely makes you Muslim. Of course doing a Christian prayer 5 times a day doesn't make you Muslim. I don't know why you assumed that.

There was one time for uni where I needed to take the train occasionally for a month and I couldn't read maghrib cause the train ride was really long. Allah gave me a month off uni, the professors sent me home to do research that entire month.

Assalamu alaikum. I see your enthusiasm for Islam alhamdulillah, but it is wrong to say that we are the children of God. “And say, ‘All praise be to God, who has had no son and who has no partner in His kingdom, and who needs no protector from disgrace!’ And proclaim His immeasurable greatness.” (17:111) To associate anything with him, whether it is a son or a partner is shirk, which is a major sin that we should avoid at all costs. Instead you may say that Allah loves us more than a mother loves her own child, which is true subhanallah. May Allah guide us all, ameen.

Assalamualaikum my dear brother/sister so firstly I'm not a perfect muslim so I just gonna give u some tips which are coming in my mind rn. Hope so they will work inshaa Allah. 1. Make dua this is what I do mostly when I forget to do something or I wanna do something I just ask Allah Almighty to give me hidaya and tofeeq to pray so just ask Allah to help u pray all the prayers inshaa Allah he will help u. 2. Setup azan reminders like just set time according to ur area and it will remind u to pray. Inshaa Allah

@@gloom273 I would like to add on the first comment. So brother/sister just whenever you're praying, try to put on a habit to do qaza together of any previously missed prayers that day. I started this habit and gradually I began to start keeping track of time so I don't need make up any more missed prayers. Alhamdulliah this was very beneficial for me and I hope it could be for all those Muslims too who are facing this problem :)

Set an alarm 5 minutes before each prayer, do waduaa’ and sit on your prayer mat. You could also ask a friend to remind you, you can help each other.
