The dua that you mentioned in the beginning, how does a child apply this if the father has cut ties with the child?

If only father takes his family to Jummah Khutbah just once a week. Some Father's are busy seeking wives and some are busy working for greedy wife' desires, she makes him slog for more than 48 he's.

Sister just a peace of advise regarding how we should ask questions, any STUDENT of KNOWLEDGE SHOULD avoid asking a question that may cause slandering of another Muslim. Alhamdulillah none of the student here did but you never know who will do so or what shaytan May cause people to say. Non of us here have the right to state which scholar is trustworthy and who is not (only the humble students of knowledge will understand this statement) imagine scholars were afraid of giving fatwas upon a person UNLESS it was Crystal clear that this person was astray, Why? because they were scared that maybe it would be out of envy or anger or out of wrong information and how will they stand infront of Allah on the judgment day subhana’Allah (if only we knew how heavy this is) We are now in a day and age where everyone thinks they know everyone and everyone has something to say about someone even tho they have NEVER met them subhana’Allah (May Allah forgive us all. Ameen) If you need to know if a sheikh/scholar is truthful in taking knowledge from, 1. Ask privately (not publicly) 2. Check out their Aqeeda (thru asking other trusted scholars) privately 3.Check if this person is calling to Allah ( Subhana Wa Ta’ala) and HIS Rasool (alaihi salat wa salaam) or are they calling to fulan and fulan 4.Do they give authentic evidence from Quran and sunnah in what they speak? 5. Always have other trusted scholars that you can go back to just to validate the knowledge you may collect. Etc This is just a peace of advise to you sister, me and anyone here if we are true seekers of knowledge InShaa’Allah Let’s try to learn the maners (adab) of seeking knowledge and how we should seek that knowledge. And Allah knows best
