Such a beneficial video. My daughter is only 6 months old but all these videos for parents are so beneficial for me. They are helping me learn what I need to do to prevent things like this from happening inshallah. May Allah reward everyone involved with making this content.

I don't think I can ever blame my parents for how they raised me... I was born in the late 90s and my parents were born in the 50s and 60s, they obviously did not know any better. However, later generations who know how these things work should definitely not let their kids make the same mistakes.

Subhanallah, may Allah swt reward you immensely. I don’t have parents that are religious, and I want to seek the path of knowledge. Please make dua I remain steadfast.

Can you discuss how to raise children whose family is non Muslim? I am revert and this is something that scares me. Because I have to uphold ties of kinship but my non Muslim family do so many things that I'm terrified of my daughter witnessing and being affected by. And i have already told them certain things I will not allow but if I continue it would cause more harm than good (fighting and hatred) so how do I protect my child from being influenced from the non Muslims in their family who won't accept Islam?

57:29 my advise to this parent is this is something you should not hide away from your child WHY? Personal story; when I was verry little I picked a mother Mary sculpture which I got soo attached to due to the fact that I wanted to express my love for God (May Allah forgive me) and I loved to the extent that I did not let it slip out of my palms, not even for a second, I was intending to wear it in my neck once I found a string but it onetime fell out of my palms and you can not imagine the pain and tears I cried yet no one knew why I was crying, plus the confusion was worse because we used to hear people sing attractive songs about Jesus and when we got home all we got was scoldings whenever we sang the same songs YET we are not told about shirk. Alhamdulillah this sculpture got lost otherwise I don’t know where I would be right now, Muslim or non Muslim. DO NOT HIDE SHIRK AWAY FROM YOUR KIDS BECAUSE THE DISBELIEVERS DO NOT HIDE IT AWAY FROM US in fact they expose it to us so that we can join their side, your child will be confused because similarly my parent did not teach me about shirk and worst case scenario I was surrounded by Christians who were proud of their belief and teaching it to kids. May Allah bless you’ll and guide us all.Ameen
