These Norwegians are so fucking spectacular, Aurora drove me to Kalandra and a whole new world for me of incredible art and amazing productions, Katrine and crew are so great and I'm hooked on these Viking airs, you've already seen Wardruna as well, and if I'm not mistaken, Helvegen is Kalandra's forgive me if I'm wrong.....there u are we're gonna be sailing a Drakkar through those dreamy fiords........absolutely beautiful

Not my first time watching and listening to Kalandra, but clearly, I need more of that in my life! That was fantastic. I don't know why I let them fade away from my universe, but that's going to change. Thanks! (Yes, big Aurora fan.)

I dont usually recommend music videos but in the case of Kalandra you certainly should, Beautifully shot, produced and often surprisingly alarming. lol. Tx for the reaction!!!

First time listening to this group, and I will be giving them some serious time over the next few days. That acoustic / electric guitar combo took me right back to early Led Zeppelin, and that's not a comparison I make lightly. And those vocals - I need more! Thanks Steve.

Ok, so I went down a Kalandra rabbit hole thanks to your reaction to this. The music videos for Borders and The Waiting Game are absolutely mind blowing. The most creative and emotionally affecting music videos I’ve ever seen. So worth checking out.

Music reaction at it's best. Presenting new music. If you like the emotional stuff i will recomend When the lord by Susanne Sundfør. Susanne Sundfør is a Norwegian artist as well. By the way im the one who recomended Kalandra on this channel a year ago. Im glad you liked it.👌

Your reaction is short and precise, just as I like them. I think you would like Kalandra - Slow motion (live at Gildehallen). Robert Brun recommend Susanne Sundfør, as do I. Maybe "Delirious" (Live on Skavlan | SVT/NRK/Skavlan).

Kalandra is awesome. They've carved out a sound that's really uniquely their own. Hope to see you check out more of them. You've already gotten a lot of great suggestions. My personal favorite is Lullaby (live at Storas). Katrine really lets loose on that one.

The clip you reacted to is already a few years old. By now, Kalandra has a permanent drummer and there is another live version of 'Brave New World' on yt. About a year ago, you reacted to the song 'Helvegen' from Wardruna feat. Aurora. Kalandra did an absolutely amazing cover of this (kzread.info/dash/bejne/oWqW25ucnJWac9o.html , brought me to Kalandra 3,5 years ago), react or at least listen to. Kalandra and Wardruna seem to have a friendly relationship. They toured together last summer. And Wardruna several times took Katrine on tour with them as an additional singer.

Great and insightful reaction as always, Steve! Keep it up! Since you seem to enjoy Norwegian female singers, I can definitely recommend Susanne Sundfør. She has many songs you could check out, and I'm sure my fellow commenters will recommend options to this one, but I think this live performance is out of this world: kzread.info/dash/bejne/c2GptNuIpZe_hpc.html

Thanks a lot. I have been waiting for this one. The lyric's are based on Aldous Huxsley's novel Brave new world. Anything live from Kalandra is great. Check out. Lullaby Slow Motion Grizzly Man. Their going to suport Leprous on tour Next year. If you got the chance to see them i will strongly recomand it. Leprous is one off the best Metal prog Band out there. Check out Running Low (official video) Love your analyse's and you quick comments 🤘

They are certainly a good enough all-round team to be deserving of making the Superbowl... yes. BUT, as an Eagles fan I've been hurt many many times before so I am assuming they rip through an epic season and then are out in the playoffs in their first game lol. Managing my own expectations there 😅 Still, having won their first Superbowl a few years ago, I'm now pretty chilled about whether they make it to the big dance again so soon. It's just a joy to watch them play well 🤘🏻
