This is why they are my favorite band Nothing but pure talent.

The original version of this MV was the one that introduced me and a lot of other people to Lovebites. It was like being hit by a bomb, and somehow surviving.

First contact track here, but it was the Bloodstock version with the unoptimized mikes...yet the talent was obvious, and they got me hook, line and sinker. Delving further realized I had just discovered my new favorite band. 🤘🐺🤘

This was my first contact with Lovebites 5 years ago, my favourite band. By the way after 1 year on hiatus they are back with a new bassist and a new look.

Thank you so much for appreciating Lovebites! 😊 This is one of the many jewels out of the treasure chamber of Lovebites' songs. 😊 What excites me most: While we alle sit in awe listening to the fantastic (M&M) guitar solos and duets, Haruna (drums) once more lays the foundation for their drive with her relentless double kick bass drums. 😳 😊 🤩 It is such a constant drum beat carpet, that you almost over-hear it. "Haruna, my heroine, again." 🤩

That was just another glimpse of the Lovebites' paradise! The band has a brilliant and huge songbook and their stage appearances are exceptional. These ladies have long risen to the pinnacle of Metal music. Unfortunately, the world is largely oblivious to it - another example of life's little tragedies.

"Shadowmaker" is their early work recorded in their first full album "AWAKENING FROM ABYSS" (October 2017). The music video was also released around the same time. Originally, the music video was interrupted in the middle and inserted PR for the album and tour dates. They removed the parts of the PR that were no longer needed and re-uploaded.

i've always got goosebump to this song no matter live or MV. Pure metal vibes in all aspect. thanks bro to brought this masterpiece.👍👍🤘🤘🔥

Midori loves Angra, they are her favorite band and Kiko her favorite guitarist.

What these ladies do is almost unbelievable, even now I cannot believe what I have just heard. They perfection unsurpassed. But again I must mention Haruna, how the hell can she play what she does...words fail me again. Not for the first time, describing these ladies playing is out of this world brilliance.

Good old bro Chuck knows what is THE REAL DEAL-The Wolfpack of course. Its nice to see that he didnt forget about Lovebites. ROCK ON!

You might be familiar with Rainbow, and so might be familiar with “Gates of Babylon”. If not I earnestly recommend that you check it out (Ronnie Dio on vocals, Ritchie Blackmore on guitar). To my untrained ear, the main riff used at the beginning and end of the song is a slight rework of the main riff in “Babylon”. It has a distinct Middle Eastern sound to it. Miyako (Dean guitar) was raised listening to Rainbow and Deep Purple, her mom’s favourite bands. I just have a feeling that if it didn’t consciously inspire her when writing this, then it almost did subconsciously.

The guitar solo starting from midori at 3:31 🎸 is the best riff I've ever heard 💯 Miyako who created it is even more of a genius 💯💯

This song rocks from beginning to end. Miyako's little part coming out of the solo run is so intense to me, equaled only by Midori & Miyako coming out of the solo run in Winds of Transylvania (my favorite music video by them, a song that is controlled chaos at its finest). Like almost all of their songs, there is so much ear candy with every song they have. Backing tracks are done to perfection, and each instrument is always so busy with many layers going on. What constantly disappoints me is just how little credit Haruna gets . The stamina to keep the beat driving through all 5 minutes of this song with double bass kicks is phenomenal and while the other four ( rightly ) always get enormous credit sometimes I feel Haruna gets slightly forgotten - AND SHE IS AWESOME !

perhaps this fact should be considered from perceptions of various category of viewers. Firstly not all reactors/ reviewers are learned musicians, and this category in all probability have little analytical skills to evaluate what Haruna does. Cant fault them for their limitations in being me too reactors. Then there are those gender bias, close minded stereotypes, ardent worshipers of the rock culture glorifying on attire, stage posturing, mosh pits etc:rather than the music composition and execution: in all probability Haruna wont even get a second view. from this group. In sync with the adage that only a pro would recognize another, Haruna usually receive raving reviews from those experienced in the field of music or experienced musicians themselves. These are the real accolades, for these people could provide the most apt description about her skills and abilities. That is what really matters for rating purposes in the music industry. What about the thoughts of the band members about Haruna? Well, Haruna is the drummer that opens the door for Miyako to excel further in the world of compositions, and Miyako is confident on the proficiency and competency of her resources at hand. Awesome is an understatement to describe Haruna. She is a master in time signature dynamics driving the rhythm with Miho, with the accuracy of a metronome, without which all the Miyako Midori harmonized solos will be in disarray and chaos. I am no rock/metal fan, I do not know Judas Priest, Metallica and Iron Maiden though i hear their names in those years, but what I know makes Haruna special is that she is a paradox: a fundamentally/classical trained musician playing drums for a heavy metal band. She has the versatility and dynamics with those strokes and touches of a prog, jazz fusion drummer.There are instances of Haruna;s execution that reminds me of Senri Kawaguchi. With due respect to Miho, I think LOvebites 2.0 will see the combination of Haruna and Fami with more radiant and colorful rhythmic moves. On that, leave it to Miyako and the other composers.

Is the contrast stunning? No gloomy men, tattoos, chains, black clothes and leather.... but these Ladies in white dresses are power metal of the highest standard ! LOVEBITES are the GODDESSES of heavy , power , thrash metal ! In 2018 , LOVEBITES won the prestigious Metal Hammer GOLDEN GODS Award for "Best New Band" (London,UK). Metal Hammer has included LOVEBITES' third album "Electric Pentagram" (2020) in the Top 20 Best Metal Albums of 2020.
