Thanks guys. They are incredibly talented. The 2 guitarists Midori (light hair) & Miyako (Dark hair) are among the best duos I've heard ever. They do play effortlessly, especially Miyako who is usually very stoic. Wait till you see her play the piano. Dive deeper they just get more impressive.

As a guitarist, I'm in awe of Midori's solo. This is the best solo I've heard from lovebites. If you listen to it, the first solo, it is ridiculously technical and yet, perfectly composed. Every note, every melody, every phrase perfectly placed. Gotta love this band!

This is indeed one year later than the "Holy War" performance you saw. At this point, Miyako (dark-haired guitarist) is halfway through a pregnancy. The vocalist, Asami, may have also been pregnant at this time, as both had babies by 2022. They just played their first overseas show is several years, due to the domino fall of circumstances between 2020-2023, including covid, childbirth and maternal time, plus the loss, search, and replacement of Miho with Fami on bass. Now LOVEBITES is taking on the world again!

This concert took place on March 26, 2021. Only Miyako was pregnant.Miyako gave birth in 2021, Asami gave birth in 2022. This is one of the reasons why the band took a break.

@@GrayFox14 I've wondered if perhaps Asami may have been in very early stage at this point, because her baby came before the album release I believe, and recording for the video of Judgement Day. It it a very close timeline, and there certainly was a sparkle in her performance during the RFV show making me wonder if she had a secret.

@@anthonypowell6234 During this concert (March 26, 2021), Asami was not pregnant. More than a year passed from the moment of the concert until the birth of Asami’s baby. 🤗

When I saw it was Shadowmaker I was like OH HELL YEAH!!! And yes A Frozen Serenade next! If a song can be beautiful it is A Frozen Serenade.

I would describe it as 'Musical Artistry'

This was the dead venue COVID show yet the band rocked the place to the ground. Miyako (dark hair) was 4/5 months pregnant and still went full tilt on guitar, piano, synth and keytar!!! M&M love to play this song LIVE!!! One of the earliest songs from the band and one that formed the Wolfpack (fanbase) early on!!! LIVE there are few bands to compare these petite queens of metal to!!!! BTW nice reaction and no one harmonizes like this duo LIVE, no one. Insane talent at every instrument and this show was an absolute experience. Their sound is unique and blends metal and classic influences like no one else. From this show Set the World on Fire, Frozen Serenade, or anything else as they NEVER disappoint!!!!

I have no problem saying that Shadowmaker dueling solo is one of the best dueling solo there is in metal

More Lovebites will always be welcome. And, of course, more Band-Maid, Nemophila, Hanabie...! Japan's incredible female musicians (and a few male ones too) have provided all my music for about 8 years now and every year more new ones keep appearing! It's musical heaven basically!

Seen them in Ittre/Belgium yesterday. The show was amazing although the sound was not that good imho. But seeing the ladies rock out right in front of me, maybe 1,5 mtrs away, was a blast. Fami headbanging herself almost off the stage, Asami fistbumping the first zwo or three rows, her smile, her gestures…She is truly a stage general, our beloved little firecracker. Midori running from one side of the small stage to the other, „Queen“ Myiako just walking here and there with a small smile once in a while. Couldn‘t see much of Little Big Engine Haruna though, hidden behind her kit. Looking forward to seeing them again on Tuesday in Lindau/Germany ❤❤❤

The video for "Don't Bite the Dust" was their first video and was released in 2017.

Absolutely one of my favorites. This was a break out song for them. Although I like most of their lives I like more but for me I like the music video more for this song. The awesome riff just before the guitar solo is more pronounced.

They basically change their stage costumes every year, but not during the 2020-2021 period, since they could hardly hold any live concerts. If you look closely you can see that Miyako (black hair guitar/piano) was 2nd trimester Preggo during this show. This was their last performance before *Miho* , one of the founding members (the other was bassist Haruna) quit the band for personal reasons. They went on a hiatus, where both Miyako and *Asami* (vocals) had babies. They were questioning their ability to go on. But, they had auditions in 2022, and added Fami in October, and performed their 'Resurrection' concerts in March of 23. Now, they are on a World Tour - and going to the US for the First time.
