The first version is about the heart and time they put into their last album Scaled and Icy, and it being considered a miss by the Music industry and many fans.. ( the shot of the shell that you said you liked shows the blue dragon in the background, which is on the album cover and in the MV Choker from same album.)
cool to watch these videos back to back and love how the paired back visuals match the accoustic version. the contrast of older tyler sitting in front of videos of himself when he was younger makes it very striking how much time has passed.
