10 out of 10 people and kitties enjoy Sleep Token. Proven fact. Every song is a journey or an experience of some sort, and very few songs in their catalog have a traditional structure or stay in the same genre lane throughout. Another commenter mentioned Ascensionism as your next listen and that one definitely gets my vote, too. What a ride it is. Enjoy!

I said in another reaction video that I could see music teachers around the world using Ascensionism in their classes! It's such a cleverly constructed song. So perfect in its design, attention to detail, and delivery. Not many artists could write a song like it, and even fewer could pull it off!

I'm seeing a lot of Ascensionism in the comments, and I have to agree with that one. The lyrics really make you think "how does someone come up with this?" As a new viewer, you made a wonderful video!
Many of us are new to sleep token too. You are in good company. I would suggest a deep dive into their discography. All of it is well formed and great music. If you are looking for a specific song, Atlantic on This Place Will Become Your Tomb would be a good one to go to next.

The drummer be like: *I know I could be in any metal band, period, ever, on earth, no doubt. However...*
The song definitely has a chorus (“my my those eyes like fire” etc) but every time it comes around it’s in a different genre.

It changes from minor to major so it goes from a sad sounding chorus to a happy sounding by the end! I noticed that as well and thought it was very well done!

It definitely doesn't end happy. It ends in an angry deathcore type of scream with heavy as fuck instrumentals

I saw Mastodon, Gojira, and Lorna Shore back in September, I had no idea who Lorna Shore was, in checking them out, I discovered Will Ramos goes fan girl over Sleep Token, and checked them out as well, both bands are currently my favorites, I absolutely love them both, which is ironic as they're pretty much polar opposite, this song is the epitome of gorgeous, and I think it would be amazing to see you react to the Pain Remains Trilogy, the official video, one sitting, bring a box of Kleenex and I hope you aren't triggered by depictions of suicide, but it's an absolute masterpiece that invokes the most basic human emotion and explores our own humanity, it's a deathcore ballad.

Should consider just doing a full album reaction of "Take Me Back To Eden". If you are looking more for specific songs Acensionism is my favorite by them. Also Choke Hold, The Summoning, Vore, Alkaline, The Love You Want, DYWTYLM, the list goes on. You really cant go wrong with them.

@@xNeuhTactics I think you're confusing performing vs writing/recording. It's not unheard of other band members writing for instruments you don't see them playing live. Only vessel and ii have been credited on any album. iii and iv only come in to play live, I don't know what else to tell you lol. Your surface level of engagement with out looking into anything besides "they play it live so they write it" is just a bit disingenuous. If you don't believe the wiki link, you can follow anything they source in the links below. But, even better, you could look it up yourself =)

You are super adorable and the fact that you wanted more of the heavier part puts you damn near in an untouched category of girl. Just thought you should know. Aside from that, this song is great. That whole album is pretty good minus DYWTYLM. It's not rock at all. I would recommend "Higher" from the previous album and "Alkaline" which is probably their most popular song from the album before that. You would enjoy more than just these two though I think.
