Hou guys have not heard the Carpenters. Tori is the re-incarnated Karen Carpenter
This recording by Tori, and the original by Carpenters, are both in the key of A Major. Those saying one is higher or lower than the other are incorrect. And, yes, I am a musician, and saw Carpenters live on several occasions. Finally, Tori’s name is spelled correctly. It is Holub.

Hi guys! Thanks for the shout out. I kinda figured you’d be surprised. First, Tori’s name in the yellow letters, is wrong? Also this is going to shock you. Tori is a touch LOWER than Karen’s original vocal. There is a side by side mashup video and you can hear the slight difference. Karen soars higher and wider on “rising sun” but Tori keeps in perfect sync as also proven in the mashup. The whole production is spot on. It’s essentially a re-creation. It was released on 3/2/24 Karen’s birthday in heaven. In her honor. Tori has a magical voice, that her voice, as Wings of Pegasus analyzed this and there’s no autotune or pitch correction. Natural. Same with the world wide group of musicians. Jim Wilkas produced this and played multiple instruments. The credits were at the end, you stopped as they were going to appear. There’s more coming some will be covers. Tori has original songs including her newest single Something To Believe In. It was written in the mold of a Bacharach/Carpenters song and given to Tori to sing. It’s on iTunes and all the streamers. One last note, next week is the Carpenters 55th Anniversary Celebration in Downey, CA. Tori is one of the invited singers for Acoustic Night on the 25th. That’s such an honor and I have my ticket, actually to the entire festivities. Glad you enjoyed and I’ll be back with more. Hopefully this will do well for you. Tori is getting known. Joe

@@ThisandThat-JC my link failed. I’ll try just text. Karen can go lower than Tori. Tori can go higher than Karen (Olivia covers). I’ve said. Karen is in the Basement. Tori is a couple of steps down the stairs. But find her short of Never Been Mellow, she goes way the heck up there! It is here on her channel. The channel is Eduard2004. One of his videos is a spoiler for her The Bacharach Medley cover.
